Works Great
Sturdy and safe to use with ceramic heat emitter. Can place a bulb up to 160 watts.
Plant light Sun dome
I have plants that I brought in for the winter and needed a dome big enough to hold the plant light I bought for this purpose. This dome works very well to provide and disperse the light to my plants. They are thriving!
Fast Service
I was in awe of the fast service. I had the lamp in two days. It is just what I wanted. The customer service was really great.
Flukers Mini Dome
Works great-as expected. I Would buy again if needed. We use it for an Iguana cage.
Switch broke
The switch broke after 10 months. I had it on a timer plug for most of this time, so I barely even had to use the actual switch. Started making a buzzing noise and the switch part got very hot after being on for a very short period of time.
THE BETTER LIGHTING FIXTURE BRAND
I went through multiple lighting fixtures and this is by far the best one for aquatic turtle tanks. Many advertised on this website for reptiles are really not for them at all and this brand says that you can use them for aquatic turtles. I have the Zoo Med Reptile Lamp Stand along with the Fluker's Sun Spot Bulb, 100-watt and I've been using them for a week with no problems. This bulb is better than the (Zoo Med PowerSun UV Mercury Vapor Reptile Lamp) which I ordered twice and the bulb blew out both times which I had to get refunds for. I would 100% recommend this product!
Leopard gecko
Perfect. Big enough it sits right on top of the cage no need for Attachments. Houses a 10.0 uva/uvb bulb.
Quit working after a year
I got the one rated for 160 watts for my Bearded Dragon. It kept shutting off even though I only had a 75 watt basking light on it and no one touched the switch. I thought it was the bulb, but after purchasing and trying several bulbs, it still kept shutting down. I recently tried it with a 100 watt CHE on my Python and it seemed to work at first, but I went in to check on her and she and the tank was stone freaking cold!!! I put a Zoo Med on her and will NEVER try Flukers light fixtures again!! This think has given me problems from day one since I got it.
Burnt through 2 bulbs after 4 months
Worked great but randomly burnt through 2 bulbs (one was 100 watt and the other was 75 watt) in one day after only 4 months of use even when used with thermostat.
Disappointed about price, nothing fancy just a light fixture
I ordered some for $9.99 and once they were delivered, I liked them so much (for the price) I wanted to get some more but the price had already more than doubled...
