It says it treats 80 gallons but do you need all three packs to treat that amount?

This media treats 80 gallons per pouch.
I run a Betta rescue and have a bunch of smaller tanks (sixteen 7.5g cubes and two rimless 15 gals). I was wondering if I could divide the media into smaller pouches so it could be used for my smaller tanks? Thanks!

This media is intended to be used with Fluval filter models: 106, 206, 306, 406, FX5, 105, 205, 305, 405, 104, 204, 304 and 404.
With a Fluval 50 and a 70 do you replace the bio bag with this one? So it would be (from bottom up) sponge, carbon bag, then this one instead of white bio filter bag? Or do you add this one?? Pls lmk. Ty

The Clearmax can be placed in the same basket as the carbon bag, preferably underneath the carbon.

You'll want to change the filter when you notice the water in the tank is becoming cloudy or dirty.
