Adjust the amount of food you serve based on the age, size and activity level of your dog. Food should be fed at room temperature. Fresh water should be available at all times. Refrigerate unused portion. Adults: Feed 3 cans per 10 lb of body weight.
The general idea is to slowly decrease the amount of your pets current food while increasing the amount of the new food you wish to use. For both cats and dogs, we typically recommend taking about 7-14 days to gradually transition to the new food. Every pet is different though, and some may require more time than others. As always, you and your vet know your pet best and should decide if this traditional approach to food transitioning is the right path.

I don’t like cans of wet food that put me to work at 6am in the morning. My dogs (2 large pit bulls) like it, but they like just about everything. The problem I had was with the food being too dry and difficult to extract from the can. I’ll admit, I prefer the stews so I can just pour it out of the can, but when I do need to use a spoon I want it to be easier. Getting the food out of this can is a pain and it sticks to the sides so much that I don’t ever get all of it.
I bought 6 cans just to see how my Staffie mature girl would respond and see if vegan is a route to go for her (vegan human household). She had not been eating her usual foods very well that were canned fish and poultry and a sweet potato-salmon dry food. I put some of this in a bowl, added a bit of water as it's sorta dry, and presented to her. My baby gobbled it up, rail wagging super fast, glancing up as me excitedly, then it was gone. I'm now mixing it with her remaining cans of fish & poultry to use them up and we'll make the switch. I'll also be making her vegan food, but this will be a part of transitioning to that, and for backup when time is an issue.
My dog likes this food well enough, but it's very hard and dry.
My dog has been eating Halo's wet canned food for over 2 years and he's not the biggest fan of it, but the price point was ok and he would eat it eventually. They have been raising their prices over the years, and honestly, I was on the search for a new one and came across this one. He is a VERY picky eater, but the second I opened this can, he was all in. It smells really meaty, as opposed to Halo's which is very vegetable based, and not appetizing. My dog runs to eat this, even when he's greeting me he will run to the bowl to see if there's more, and he's only 6 lbs and not a big eater but will want the whole 12oz can. Will be buying more and switching over!
Freely was selected to replace Natural Balance vegetarian formula which is no longer available. My Boston Terrier has a sensitive stomach. Freely has been well received by my dog and she has not had any diarrhea issues.
I needed to find a substitute for Natural Balance since they are experiencing shipping issues. Freely is very similar to Natural Balance in texture. Tiki loves this food and there is no change in his digestion since switching him over. I'll be purchasing more of this brand.
My dog was still a picky eater on this. Sorry.
We received the order within two days, in good condition. Our poodle has extensive allergies to animal proteins and since this is also grain free he licks his empty bowl and hasn’t had any GI problems since starting Freely.
Great plant-based dog food, both my dogs love it! They get so excited at meal times. I like that it doesn't smell stinky like other wet dog foods I've used.
My dogs quite liked this food, I was worried because it didn’t look very palatable, but the dogs proved me wrong and munched it right up! So I will definitely be ordering this again!
