Meets my needs

I hate dealing with cat litter. My late husband was the cat lover and since he's no longer here, I am taking care of our kitties and their litter. I wanted something that would stave off odors and wasn't messy. The unscented version was just ok but the scented multicat version works perfect. If I get lazy and wait 7 days before cleaning, it holds off the odors really well. I have 2 boxes per cat so they have plenty of options to allow me to be lazy when I'm having a hard week. I just dump it, replace it, and move on. Quick and easy and the 25 lb bags last a decent amount of time.

Shipping Litter

Unfortunately one of the bags had broken open and was all over the inside. I am still able to use it but it when the boxes arrive, they always look like they have been thrown around too much and damaged.

Not As Good As YESTERDAY'S NEWS

I would rate it 3.5 STARS, but it doesn't allow that rating. I used Yesterday's News for many, many years. I stockpiled it when they announced they would no longer make it. I just ran out a month or so ago. I always remove the saturated area of urine. This litter smells strongly of ammonia in the urine areas. I do use Zero Odor to spray the box when I finish scooping, but the litter in my disposal bag smells very strongly. Never had this issue with YESTERDAY'S NEWS, but ALAS, it's NO LONGER AVAILABLE, so, this is it.

Smells horrible

I was really hoping this would be a good replacement for my cat's messy pine litter. Unfortunately, the scent for this is horribly strong, even when it's in the litterbox. If you're at all sensitive to smells, don't get this. Also, I think my cat has some sort of intolerance to whatever chemical they're using to make it smell, because ever since using this he's been having diarrhea. I think it might be getting on his paws. I'm considering trying the unscented one because while this smells bad, the litter itself holds up really well and doesn't crumble into sawdust. I also like that the bag is resealable.

Cat hates this litter!

I tried mixing it with clay litter, but my cat refused to use it. So I’m stuck with an 85% full bag! She’s 15..and has used clay litter her whole life. I switched hoping that it wouldn’t stick to her paws. I ended up with Fresh Step Clean Paws and it’s working great.

Good product

I'm not a clay litter lover. Really like this product, handles odor well. I only have one cat & she's much happier with paper litter than clay. Been looking for a paper product since Yesterday's News disappeared. This is a great substitute.
