What is the INSIDE diameter of the top perch?
Answer by ChewyJan 27, 2022
The inside diameter of the top perch is 15 inches.

How large/heavy/long a cat will it hold?
Answer by ChewyApr 01, 2021
This cat tree does not have a weight capacity and was designed for cats of all sizes. Cat trees are tested to ensure standalone stability, but should be placed on a flat, level surface against a wall or in a corner for best stability.

How is the top bed attached to the rest of the unit. After looking at the assembly instructions it looks like the bed simply lays on top? IF so, is seems the cat could love it around and possible fall off. What am I missing? Thank you.
Answer by ChewyAug 27, 2021
The bed is secured by the bottom portion which wraps around the wooden perch.

Can this be assembled without using the 3 platforms (steps)?
Answer by ChewyJan 14, 2022
Parts should not be removed or replaced. It’s recommended to follow the assembly instructions and not omit any parts.

Both cats love these

I purchased one of these, and my 15-year-old 7lb calico took to it immediately. I positioned it behind the sofa, and it's just the right height for her to be perched while being nearby. A few weeks later the 19lb 10-year-old tabby decided to investigate after noticing the calico had claimed it. I tried to buy a second one, but they were out of stock. Finally able to get another one, but in the other color. The colors in both are neutral enough to go with my decor. Now they both have a place to perch. Neither cat uses the platforms to climb up because both are close enough to climb up via the sofa. However, the calico likes to sleep on the bottom platform and also hangs out on the next platform up occasionally. They are very easy to assemble, and all the pieces fit together as intended. Having been through several cat towers, I'm impressed by the quality for such a low price. I strongly recommend it!

Great Medium-Sized Cat Tree

This is an amazing cat tree. It was easy to assemble, and the positions of the three steps are adjustable (I turned the lowest one inwards to make the tree take up less space). My cat took an immediate liking to it and can get to the top easier than his old tree because of the intermediate steps. This is especially useful for a cat that may be getting a bit older and has trouble jumping straight from the floor to the top or vice versa.

Nice cat bed!

I wouldn't call it a cat's more of a bed/scratching post. It's fairly sturdy, but I wish the base were larger and heavier. Plus I like the thicker 3/8" sisal rope better...good thing I have a box when it's time to redo it. My cat's do like it thou and it's whoever is first, gets the big bed...which is usually my 22 lb. Flame point himalayan, Toby!!!

Good Option for Large Cats

I have a 20 lbs Maine Coon and he fits on the top platform/bed. My main problem was to find a tree with the perch large enough for him and for this reason alone this tree is already a winner. In addition, 1. the bed is removable and washable 2. there are three scratching posts and they can be used from the floor as well as from the top of the tree 3. the tree is tall enough for my cat to look out of the window

Almost perfect

I just got this today and just put it together. My cat Lilith is already playing on it. She's used the scratchers and is now using the top platform/bed. Here's the pros: Assembly: I have bought many cat trees over the years and this has been the easiest to assemble by far. Most are a pain to put together, especially for one person. I was able to assemble this by myself in minutes. Lilith did supervise, of course. Price: It was on sale with an additional 30% off at checkout for black Friday. It was a great deal. Cats reaction: Lilith was all over it the minute I was done putting it together. This is unusual. She normally will check it out but I have to give the tree a spritz of catnip spray to pique her interest. Not today. She's thoroughly enjoying it. I have no doubt her sister will too when she wakes up. Cons: My cats are pretty small. When Lily jumped up onto the top platform it shook a bit. I'm not sure that a big cat wouldn't knock it over. Two of the posts are covered in carpet. I wish they were all wrapped in sisal. If (when really) they scratch the carpet, it's going to go everywhere. I may buy some sisal and wrap them myself. I'd give it a 4.5 but can't. The cons (for me) are not worth giving it a 4. Lilith agrees.

41-inch Frisco cat tree

Excellent quality tree. The others I have purchased werent as soft, they were made from rough carpet. The top cushion is super soft and cozy for kitty. Very happy with this purchase.

The New Favorite

Definitely a hit for both cats! We originally bought this to put next to our bed so our little calico girl could sleep next to us (our other cat likes to keep to himself in one of our taller trees to keep watch throughout the night), but our gray tuxedo boy took such an interest in it as well that we ended up moving it next to a window so they could have a nice view and take turns. It was very quick and easy to put together, and is quite sturdy - great for our big 15.5 lb boy! Everyone is very happy with the purchase!

Best cat tree!

This is a very good functional cat tree. The top is large enough for a cat to be comfortable, and it can be tucked in a corner. It’s stable and my cat appreciates the height.

Good Cat Tree for Kit and Cat

With the multi-level perches, it allows them to all enjoy. Kitten claims the top, mostly. It’s not huge, but I needed compact for my space. It was just what we needed. My larger 11-12lb adult fits up top but no room to spread out for her.

Great Cat Tree

Perfect cat tree for my shy, quiet kitty. Not too high, not many “bells & whistles” so she feels safe, very sturdy, and she really likes the scratching posts. For me, easy to assemble, sturdy, and easy to move. (The cat tree is on the porch and I move it around so it’s in the sun for her. Yes, she’s spoiled!)
