About Frisco Cat Trees

Cat Trees With Sweet Amenities

Frisco Cat Trees are made for kitties to do everything they love to do. Whether your cat is an avid toy chaser or professional napper, she'll be able to do it all in one spot—her very own tree. With so many climbing, jumping, playing and scratching amenities, these trees are great for feline family members in multi-cat households.

Interactive Play Areas

Cats are natural hunters, so they can get a little frisky—even the couch kitties. Frisco Cat Trees have dangling toys like fuzzy balls, swinging ropes and classic mice to stalk and bat around. That's way better than pouncing on your feet under the covers or swatting a string that's hanging from your favorite sweater.

The Ultimate Watchtower

The higher up, the better, if you ask any cat. Frisco agrees, which is why they've added perches and platforms for climbing to the very top of the tower. It's the best view in the house, and the perfect lookout spot for kitty to keep an eye on her sprawling domain.

Kitty-Size Apartments

All-day snoozes are part of your cat's daily routine. Frisco Cat Trees are equipped with state-of-the-art studio apartments for hiding out or catching up on 16+ hours of sleep. They are soft, comfy and they have reinforced corners that are covered in faux fleece or plush material.

Scratcher's Delight

There are tons of places for scratching—a favorite kitty pastime. Let the clawing frenzy begin with high-quality scratch posts covered in durable sisal rope. Frisco's Cat Trees provide multiple posts, and most have scratch board ramps to satisfy this instinct.

2-in-1 Pet Steps

Frisco gives cats plenty of ways to get high off the ground, including pet steps. Set them up next to your kitty's favorite windowsill, or let them stand alone as a place to stretch, climb, play and lounge. These versatile steps offer two different height options to fit your needs. They come with easy-to-follow instructions so you can assemble them as three steps or four.

About Frisco

Frisco's quality products are made for and by a family of pet lovers. And they're more than just everyday pet supplies. Crates become comforting kingdoms, potty pads transform into a favorite patch of grass, and potty bags give the signal that it's time to take care of business. Do they make replacement legs for scratching? My cat has shredded one of his.
Answer by BarbieTMay 16, 2022
It’s easy to buy the rope/twine from the hardware store and hot glue it on to the post.

Is the apartment solid on the sides or is it a pull over fabric?
Answer by ChewyJul 21, 2017
The apartment in the Frisco 48-Inch Cat Tree is solid on all sides.

How big is the base
Answer by ChewyOct 14, 2022
The baseboard measures 21.3 inches long x 21.3 inches wide x 0.6 inches high.

There is not a hole to screw in the rope that goes by the scratching board. How does it attach?
Answer by ChewyDec 14, 2017
The opening for the rope is right behind the opening where you attach the scratching board.

Solid and Stable!

My cat isn't quite a chonker but she's not tiny I suppose. She's been 12lbs at her heaviest (we're doing better these days at around 10lbs). I was reading through several reviews on other cat trees that mentioned weight limits and I'd seen a few videos online where these things were wiggly or they straight up failed the cat. While funny I'm not sure mine would recover from the trauma. This thing is solid!! It is bolted together from every angle, but it doesn't have so many parts that it's too difficult to assemble. I've had it a couple weeks now and it's still standing strong. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something to amuse their cats that is "apartment-sized" and well-made.

Not very solid

The condo part of this has fabric walls. I'm used to cat trees that are bit more sturdy. It's been in use 13 days and there are holes in the cubby fabric because the cats can't help themselves to tear it up. I understand it's a cost savings in manufacturing and shipping, but it's lame for real world use. Only two cats are using this tree and I'm skeptical that the materials are going to last 6 months. They love the scratching sisal part, and the hanging rope - but they use it a lot so I wish I would have upgraded to something a bit sturdier.

cat approves

my cat likes this tree.. she does not use the hole or scratching board to climb up or down, it looks too small for that though that was my intention since she is a senior cat and doesnt jump from high up anymore. The second level isnt that far off the ground its sofa level.. she uses all the levels and perches to get herself up and down though.. and it has NOT toppled over during her HIIT (zoomies). shes reenergized and reinvigorated and it was a worth the PITA to put it together. installing: The screws all look the same and arent separated by size... lots of trial and error and took a few hours for me

Kittens love this

Less than 24 hours in our house so far but our two 8 week old kittens are in love with this cat tree. The levels are the perfect height and distance where they can reach without slipping and it gives them exercise. They love running up the poles. They love the dangling toys off the ledges. They love sleeping on the ledges. Very very satisfied with our order

My kitty loves the tree for watching out the window, for sleeping and trying to kill the mouse. My only concern is the hole in the first shelf is right in the middle. I would prefer it a little off to the side, making it easier for my kitty to jump on and get to the higher spots. All in all I'm happy with the purchase.

PURRFECT!

The big cats love to lounge on it, the kitten loves to jump on all levels and play with the mouse and scratch the poles. Sturdy, easy to assemble. Will buy another one when I move! Can't believe this doesn't cost double, honestly. I've gotten flimsier ones for double the price. This one is perfect!

Cats Love it

My cat loves this tree! She climbs it and plays with the attached mouse. Setup was pretty easy and it's relatively stable. We put a weight underneath it just in case, but I don't think it's necessary.

OK, but doesn’t last long

I will have had this cat tree for a year next month, it was great in the beginning however at this point both the ball and the mouse attached to it has fallen off. The top perch is also becoming a little shaky. Great product, however for your money you will not get that long out of it.

I would leave no stars if I could

First of all, I was hesitant to buy this particular modelbecause of the carpet at the top of the scratching post. That in fact is poor design as it gets ripped up quickly. Come on folks, you think the cat is gonna stay on the sisal? OK. That is not nearly as bad as the perch falling over and breaking off completely. My cats have never done this to any other tree so I can only blame the product. I know how to put them togehter, have been doing so for years. While it is cute and compact, it's now pretty much garbage as there is broken particle board sticking up out of the carpeted cubby. Avoid ythis model. In the picture it seems to be leaning because it is propped up against the window for the photo.

Assembly difficult

I love the way this looks now it's put together. That said, I assembled 2 large cat trees in the days before this arrived with no difficulty. This one was awful. Directions were decent, but just the way this is designed is a nightmare for getting those bolts where they belong. The little cave part alone took 40 minutes due to difficulty fitting the supports in there. They should've been 1/8 inch shorter. The brackets holding the scratching ramp are all but impossible to get in there to attach/tighten without standing on your head. The furry fabric sheds all over!! I took a lint roller to it, and its still coming off! Not sure if I can find a way around that. Certainly don't want cat swallowing that fuzz!! I thought at first it was from the cut edges that should've been sealed under the sisal rope, but it's all over. Looks decent 2.5 hours later. Seems stable. Wouldn't recommend it though.
