No assembly required. Not heavy nor cumbersome to set up and use. It is lightweight and agree with others feedback that most dogs would be able to move it if motivated

No assembly required. Not heavy nor cumbersome to set up and use. It is lightweight and agree with others feedback that most dogs would be able to move it if motivated and medium to large dogs could definitely knock it over if not secured to a wall. Our 8 lb. senior dog quickly figured out they could move the panel closest to the wall enough to slip through. No worries though, solution was to place a decorative "weight" against the panel. Our configuration has one panel folder behind a door, two panels straight, and the last panel angled against a wall.

While it isn't light, it is portable enough to move to cover different openings. In our house, certain areas are off limits because someone is eating or the door wants to be open but all are not welcome. This is the ticket. Once opening is 60 inches, another 42, another 36 inches. It's short enough for the cat to pop over, but a deterrent for both dogs.

My indoor adult cat got Giardia and my vet said it's most likely because someone tracked it in on their shoes, and then she walked into the shoe area (which she loves to do because she's curious by all the sounds outside our apartment door), and then licked her paws. I needed something to block this area off and this gate worked perfectly. It looks really nice too! And it's freestanding, so no mounting or damage to worry about. The height is about the same as my kitchen counters, but my cat doesn't jump that high. If yours does, this gate may not work.

Bought these to contain our small rabbit and so far we have been very pleased. The span between the bars is a bit bigger than described so she CAN fit her head through, but no farther than that. They are easy to open, and don't look like a clunky plastic baby gate. Not sure how they would work against a big dog who wants in, but they look great and they work for us.

This is the most useful gate

We looed at a bunch of different options like this. Some half the price (looked like junk) and some almost twice the price (hard to justify). This is the one to go with for sure!

The gate itself is supported by the stands. I'm not sure how it would do as a free standing barricade. That depends on how strong your dog is and how determined it is to get through the gate.

Pretty gate but not sturdy

I have a large 80” entry to my living room that I am using this gate for. It was one of the few gates large enough that I found and also appreciated the look of

I have a large 80” entry to my living room that I am using this gate for. It was one of the few gates large enough that I found and also appreciated the look of it. The gate blends in well in my home. We also like the fact it has an opening to walk through so you don’t have to move the whole thing to get by if you don’t want. The reason for 3 starts is it is not very sturdy. The legs help but it’s still a bit flimsy. I have two German Shepherds and a French Bulldog and luckily the shepherds respect barriers so it has not been an issue because if not they could easily push or pull it down even with the legs attached. If you have a larger dog that tries to get past barriers this gate will not keep them out.
