I measured my current crate before ordering this for the new puppies. They share the one I have fine, but needed one for the car and one for in house training. This is an inch shorter than description and at least a half inch narrower. it might not seem like a lot but it sure seems like it when the puppies are in it. They fit well in my original, are crowded in this. Very disappointed and will be returning and buying one local so I can be sure of size. If I had one small puppy it would be fine, but actual dimensions would have helped.
This crate was very easy to set up. My one-year-old Scottish Terrier, Rupert loves his "house". I wish I had purchased this months ago. He now never minds when I have to leave home. He voluntarily enters the crate. I bought the medium and he has plenty of room to stand and move around.
First of all, amazing help and recommendations from the staff online. They found the best solution for me. I had originally ordered the wrong size. This crate is perfect for our newest member to our family. He’s a 6-lb goldendoodle. With the divider, he has the right amount of space for now and as he gets bigger we will be able to take out the divider for him.
I love doing business with chewy. The team there is always very professional and kind. Every time I call there they bend over backwards to help me answer questions and make me a satisfied customer and when something doesn't work out, I love how they give you the option to donate it to a shelter or some kind of rescue. They're the best. Thank you, Chewy
I purchased this crate to help train my 40 lbs one year old puppy. This crate was easily assembled and appeared to be secure. However, the first time I left my dog in this crate she was able to easily bend the bars below the door and escape causing major damage to the crate itself rendering it unusable as well as my furniture. This would be fine if you are looking for a crate for your dog that is fully crate trained and the crate is used purely as a suggestion I would not recommend for a puppy or a dog that is new to crate training.
This is a nice crate for the price. It’s a nice size, and it’s not overly heavy so I can move it about easily. I wish I had bought one with two doors, but I’m not sure it’s necessary. And Chewy delivered it quickly, another nice perk! Thanks, Chewy!
We have only kenneled our dog for a month and the bottom broke where the tray slides in and out. We left our 4 month old puppy in the kennel for a few hours today, and when we came home the whole front of the kennel was broken.
Unfortunately, I have purchased three of these crates. Just started to use them and at first thought maybe I hadn't closed the latch properly. Nope! The slide bolt does not stay in position and smart dogs are able to figure out how to paw or nudge it open. I have never had this problem with any crate before. It is really disappointing!
I have a puppy right now but she will be a medium size dog so I used the chat and got a medium 30 in crate. I ordered it on a Thursday and it said I wasn't going to get it till the next Tuesday but it came in on Saturday which was perfect! It was very easy to assemble it is sturdy but light weight enough that you can move it around the room easily while looking for a spot for it. For the price I think it's a great product!
Was bigger than expected but I absolutely LOVE it!! Definitely would recommend this crate a million times over. Completely satisfied.
