cute but poorly designed
Every other scratch house I’ve bought has a base. The base allows the scratch pad to move around and also collects the pieces of cardboard that break off during scratching. This one uses the scratch pad as the base, so cardboard flakes are everywhere and when my tubby cat goes in the scratch, the entire house slams against the floor. Sounds like someone is breaking in the house in the middle of the night. This will be going in the trash.
temporary housing
I’ve bought a ton of these so I know what to expect. They’re borderline flimsy and usually require reinforcement with tape. However they’re much cuter than cardboard boxes and my cats love them. They lay in them, drag their toys in them, and definitely use the scratcher. You just need to keep an eye on them because they need routine maintenance and have a middling life expectancy.
Cats love it!
Easy to assemble. I already had a similar one and my cats would take turns in there. So, I decided to get another so they didn't have to share one. They not only use it for scratching, they actually use it as a hangout to just chill where the dog doesn't 'bother them.
NOT WORTH THE MONEY
THIS ITEM IS WORTH MAYBE $10, NOT THE AMOUNT THEY ARE CHARGING. I HAVE 9 CATS AND NOT ONE HAS BOTHERED TO GO INTO IT YET. IF YOU HAVE DRY HANDS AND WEAK FINGERS, GET SOMEONE ELSE TO PUT THIS TOGETHER. I HAD A REALLY HARD TIME TRYING TO PULL THE TABS THROUGH. IT IS A DECENT SIZE AND IS CUTE, THAT'S ABOUT IT. MAYBE IF YOU HAVE A COUPLE OF KITTENS, THEY MIGHT LIKE PLAYING IN IT.
Cute Cat Cottage
My cats love this cottage. Since my cats are not overweight, the structure holds up well even if one gets on the roof. I sprinkled catnip inside on the scratching board. If you line up a tunnel to the entrance it gives hours of play.

Our cats love it but the scratch pad is of poor quality and shreds too quickly.
Super Cute House and Scratcher
#ReceivedFreeProduct My cats love this greenhouse style house and scratcher. It is such a hit - even with my cat that does not like to play. It is easy to put together - comes with easy to follow instructions. On the sides is some double sided tape to keep it secure. The scratcher also has double sided tape to keep it secure. It is nice and sturdy. Also comes with a few clear circles of tape to secure tabs. Have a cat who loves to hide under things and she just loves it. Will even use it to take a nap. Very cute design. Looks good sitting on the floor.

I would never pay $20 for a box, but…
My grandma said I was crazy to spend $20 on this, even when she saw how cute the outside was. It’s a good thing I don’t mind a gamble every now and then because this was a good purchase. It’s cute, it’s large enough for my 10lb cat to get inside and play in. I think it’s pretty much what I paid for. I have no complaints. I love the windows of the house.
