2 stars because it’s cute but my cat immediately ripped it up and there are little plastic pieces everywhere which is very dangerous if she tried to chew/eat them. I realize it’s not a scratcher but since it’s designed for cats you’d think the possibility of it being scratched/chewed would be taken into account
great idea but my cats are too destructive!
Loved how this mat captured litter that escaped the litterbox; however, my cats are so intense with scratching outside the litterbox (super effective, I know) that it quickly got destroyed. Would be great for pet owners whose cats aren’t as destructive
Half moon litter mat
This is my second half moon mat that I have purchased. The first one has lasted several years but has developed a couple of cracks in it so decided to get a second one. I was surprised at how affordable this new mat was, less than $7.00! It arrived in perfect condition and just in time. My fur baby is 18 years old and had begun to occasionally pee outside of the litter box. This mat has prevented a bigger mess because it is waterproof. Plus, it is washable and air dries in a few hours. But some times she would pee along the edge of the mat so to solve the problem, I have place a disposable pee pad on top of the litter mat and so far, no more messes. Thank you Chewy for selling such a useful product at such a reasonable price.
Works Awesomely!!
I love the litter mat! It is a little bit more of an oval than I had originally thought but it fits the space and functions perfectly! Order shipped and was delivered super fast as well!
Flimsy
I love the color blue & bought 4, but the items are just too flimsy. After a couple of weeks the fabric is starting to rip. They are also a little smaller than I’d like and don’t collect enough of the litter scatter. Will buy something bigger next time.
Good for the Price
I would say this mat was definitely too small for what we needed. It does hold a lot of litter but also doesn't catch even like half of what my cat sometimes tracks out/kicks out on accident.
Rips Easily
I went to shake the litter off of this a few days in and it ripped in multiple places! It is also very small and only gets his first two paws as he’s darting out of his box. Getting a different mat.
Half Moon Cat Liner Mat
I love it. It really works. It helps to stop my cat from tracking litter all over my patio. I am going to buy another one for my other cat box.
Works Well
Grey. It works well at lessening how much kitty litter gets tracked around the house. Easy to shake out or vacuum up kitty litter from the mat itself. It only took a day to get my cats to stop thinking the mat is lava and leaping over it, to actually walking on it. I purchased this half moon shaped and the Frisco paw shaped litter mats. The paw shaped mat is a bit whimsical looking for my taste, but it has a larger surface area than this half moon shaped litter mat. Both work well. Recommended.
Don't waste your money
It's just ok. This catches some of it but it gets stuck and hard to empty and clean. Definitely not big enough outside the box to catch much. I opted for the honeycomb mat to try
