Super Cute Elf Kicker - But No Takers

I bought both the elf and the Santa kicker toys for my cats, and they flopped big time lol But I think most cat guardians know how picky and dismissive cats can

I bought both the elf and the Santa kicker toys for my cats, and they flopped big time lol But I think most cat guardians know how picky and dismissive cats can be regarding toys. They’ll ignore all the cute expensive toys, then bat around a pop cap for months on end. You never know. These supposedly have catnip in them, but none of mine reacted at all. And they’re usually super responsive to cat nip. These are good sized toys too, and so stinking cute! But again, no takers here.

Mischief loved playing with the curled ribbons which have been pulled, grabbed and pulled. At first I was concerned about the possible fear of the elf sue to size - but nope didn't stop her she went right for him. It has a very, very faint scent - Mischief was more interested in the curled ribbons (wish they were a bit long) and didn't seem to pick up on any scent from the elf.

I received a picture from my brother showing one of their cats playing with it in her round tunnel. Two paws up review!

My cats love a good kicker, the bigger the better, but this one just didn’t make the cut. Although super cute, it wasn’t long enough to actually qualify as a kicker for my cats. Cat owners who have cats that love a good kicker know what I’m talking about, it has to be long enough so that the cat can grab it with their claws at the top, wrap themselves around it and kick at the bottom with their back paws. I did have one cat that appreciated the smell, and even licked the kicker for a few minutes, but after that, she went back to her trusty kicker and left this one alone. Days later, still no interest. think that if the product were a few inches longer, it would be perfect, because it has a nice soft feel and playful ribbons at the end that seem to be sewed on quite securely. It probably would be a great toy for kittens.

Elfin’ Hilarious

My 2 bengals were excited about this toy as soon as they smelled it through the Chewy box. It’s cute and cuddly with just the right mix of catnip and silvervine

My 2 bengals were excited about this toy as soon as they smelled it through the Chewy box. It’s cute and cuddly with just the right mix of catnip and silvervine. The twirly ribbons at the end is a nice touch. It’s currently the number one kicker in the house, and when the boys get tuckered out it’s the best snuggle buddy. Highly recommend for a Christmas surprise for your favorite kitty. 4 paws up from my household.

I think that this little cat toy is adorable. The colors are bright and cheerful. The curly ribbon on the bottom is well secured and a good length. My cats however have not played with it once since I got it. It's a great size, perfect for fitting in their mouths and carrying around, but they haven't done so yet. Perhaps they are opposed to any Christmas decor before Thanksgiving, especially with Halloween on the horizon??

My cat Bryant took to this toy right away. He enjoys being able to hug it and kick at it with his back legs. I can play with him using the ribbons at the bottom

My cat Bryant took to this toy right away. He enjoys being able to hug it and kick at it with his back legs. I can play with him using the ribbons at the bottom to keep his interest. The elf is holding up well and shows little sign of wear after quite a bit of play. It should definitely be able to last through the holidays
