This review is for the Frisco Holiday Snowman Plush Cat Toy with Catnip & Silvervine. Our tester is Spare, a 3 year old DSH tabico. She’s a former stray, has no health issues, and she’s actually afraid of many cat toys. But she luuurves catnip. (Hi, I’m Spare. That’s me, kicking the funny little squishy snowman away. At least it’s not a wand toy or anything with bells, because those are really scary.) This snowman is pretty cute, seems fairly sturdy, and is very plush and soft. No noticeable catnip smell (to me), and maybe not to Spare either, because she wasn’t really drawn to it at all. She basically ignored the toy unless I tossed it toward her belly, and even then she mostly just kicked it away. The toy does have one piece that sticks out and comprises a possible chew hazard (see pic); and it’s made in China (if that matters to you). Although Spare wasn’t into it (she prefers feathers and tinfoil balls and grasshopper pouncing), I imagine other cats might enjoy it.

This is a very cute and seasonal cat toy. I did give it to both of my cats, and neither of them were very interested. One usually prefers kickers, and the other one is 19 years old so it may just be that. It is quite cute, and I’m going to keep it around because, as cats can do, they may decide it’s their favorite toy next week. For now, though, I am not sure if the cat nip aroma is just not strong enough to engage them.

This little snowman toy is super cute and colorful! The stitching is solid and there is some varying texture on the front side (the scarf, nose and cheeks are embroidered and the buttons and cap are smooth). The entire back side of this toy is extra soft and furry. Our cat is a big time napper and she will nap with this toy. With the holiday season coming up this would make a really cute gift for any cat lover or cat parent on your gift list. Five stars!

My boy loved this catnip snowman. It was the perfect size for him to carry around in his mouth yet not lose under furniture, doorways or kitchen appliances. It held up really well with his biting and pulling whereas most the time my boys destroys any toys he gets. He loved when I threw it and he went running after it.

This is a really cute little Christmas cat toy which I assume has catnip. But I can't smell it and my cats do not react to it as if it has catnip inside. So I've rolled it around in some loose catnip that I have and that helps get them a bit interested Still, it is not something that excites them, which is disappointing as it sure is cute!! For the appearance alone I would recommend this charming Christmas toy.

Our cat enjoys this toy! I think the addition of the silvervine to the catnip makes it more attractive to him. He chases it after he kicks it across the room, then he pounces on it. We had to hide it during the day because our two dogs have decided they love the toy, too! We give it to our cat when the dogs go to bed. I highly recommend this toy.
