This Toy Has Changed
I bought one of these 2 years ago and my cats absolutely loved it. The string it was on was super long and stretchy and they had so much fun chasing the gnome. After 2 years he was pretty grungy so I bought a new one and this one's string is barely 2 feet long and doesn't stretchy at all. My cats love chasing the toys that bouce on the string and they will barely bat at this one.
Fabulous Wand Toy!
We have a very satisfied customer in this gnome wand toy. Our 6 month old kitten loves it and will chase it everywhere. It's something about the dangly legs and the beard to sink his claws into. We have a number of wand toys and this is one of his all-time favorites. It beats out feather wand toys, butterfly wand toys, etc.. I just got on Chewy to buy another for when this one gets worn out!
A hit, but doesn’t last
My cat loves this gnome more than life itself. When we’re not holding it, he plays with it on his own probably 5x a day. He will launch out of a deep sleep to get it, and we wake up in the morning to the sound of him dragging it through the house to his “lair.” Taking off a star because we’ve only had this cat and toy for less than a week and it’s already pretty gnarly. Guess I need to stock up.
My cat is obsessed!
I don't know why, but my cat is absolutely obsessed with this toy. Every time she sees the little legs, she goes crazy after them.

My cat was obsessed with this toy right out of the box, it had her spinning in circles, jumping in the air, and going crazier than I’ve ever seen her for a teaser toy. I like that this seems sturdy/heavy and like it’ll withstand a lot of roughhousing! Also like that the string and the legs are stretchy elastic!
My old lady plays like a kitten with this toy!
Last year I adopted an elderly cat who had been rescued from a hoarding situation. She doesn’t see very well, has no teeth and gets energy in short bursts. This is her absolute favorite toy. The size seems to help her be able to catch it more easily, and works well as she loves to bunny kick. If we hang it up, we find her often playing with it by herself. The other cats also enjoy this toy. It has lasted through a lot of serious play sessions with all three of them. I will definitely buy this again if need be!
New Favorite Toy
This is definitely the kittens’ new favorite toy! They love the long dangly legs and the fact that the string is elastic makes it a little extra fun for them.
worth the money
Peanut is obsessed I’m surprised the string hasn’t broken yet - toy is durable but soft so not hurtin his teeth peanut is obsesseddd!! Buying another one today!
Cute but not really designed for a cat
This toy is cute. The wand handle is sturdy and easy to wield. The elastic is nice and is easy to move with the handle. The dangly legs should be appealing. But, the gnome is too big. It is bulky. The cats were confused and found him scary. No amount of cuteness factor could convince them. They even thought the long dangly legs seemed threatening. The overall size of the gnome should have been smaller. Then maybe he'd appear more like a toy than something trying to attack them.
amazing as ever
I don’t write reviews for stuff but when I try to use any other cat wand toy than the gnome they have no interest and only want to play with mr. gnome and the quality of the toy isn’t bad only one patched hand fell off in the 2 months or 3 that I’ve had it now. Don’t use it a ton but almost everyday they get to play mr. gnome lol. I am buying 1 more to play with both cats at the same Time ;)
