Frisco Padded Reflective No Pull Harness

not too comfy

I got this for my dog on her birthday :) to help with pulling while on walks. The harness does the job, it really helped and kept my dog from pulling. However, after the second day of using it (used for about 1h each day ) as I was petting my dog I noticed that one spot on her skin had been irritated by chafing from the constant movement of the harness (right where the buckle got placed under her left armpit). Other areas of the harness are well padded. I wish there was some padding as well on the buckle, or a different placement for buckle.

Durable

I've had this item for two years, it did break but I had two of them , one for my lab and one for my husky mix who is an escape artist. Houdini herself. She can climb out of this and has. I have had to adjust it so there's no loosened areas for her to shrug out of. I've still had it after two years. It's now smelly and looser than usual. I've bought harnesses to.replace it.and she's back to her pulling game.. I so don't want to throw away a bunch of money to find that one harness that she won't pull in This is the one that she doesn't. I'm.keeping it. My vet recommended another brand and I don't have the time for that. The only thing I don't like about this brand is chafing.

Strong enough for both my 50lb dogs. The ring you attach a leash clip to gets stuck sometimes so it does not always allow for the tightening effect on the dog’s chest though.

Poor quality

According to my order history, I didn't even have this harness 2 months. My dog isn't even particularly big (around 50lbs) and this is pretty normal daily wear. The canvass holding the D rings on front has ripped and the harness is now garbage. I keep hoping I'll find a harness that fits her and is of decent quality, but this ain't it.

Strange fit

The way these harnesses are marketed would have you believe the D-rings go on the dog's chest. The harness sits very loosely on my dogs unless you turn it around and put the D-ring on my dog's back. I also measured both of my dogs and, even though my two-year-old is much smaller, both of them were apparently a size large. The harnesses are actually very loose on both of my dogs and I have to tighten them as far as they will go. Neither of the harnesses I bought will stay tightened and come loose all the time. I would rate these harnesses lower, but they look nice and are made of sturdy material. They also work nice as long as you put the D-ring section on the back of your dog, but that is not how they are advertised. I wanted a harness that attaches to the leash on the chest.

Not working

This harness, no matter how tight I get it on her, she slips out of it. It's just not working out for her. I don't know if it's because it's the type of harness but it doesn't seem to fit her right and I do have the right size. I'm just not happy with it at all.

Perfect for my pit mix

This harness is exactly what I needed for my Pit/Aussie mix. It has helped alot with his pulling. I pair it with a hands-free leash that I wear crossbody. Putting it on is super easy - just place it over their head and then clasp the tummy band. I'll definitely be switching my new puppy to one of these soon.

Very poor fit. After making it small as possible it is still very loose so there is no cinch affect when pulled. My dog isn’t even on the smallest end of the “extra small” scale

Good product so so performance

The product is durable and good. However, it doesn’t fit properly on my canine and he has issues walking because the leash clip keeps hitting his leg.

my dog developed an irritating pulling habit, and buying this harness has helped so much! every time he starts to pull even a little bit, the pressure makes him stop. there is a huge difference in walking with and without it.
