dog hates it
This is a great item but my dog hates it. My dog is slowly becoming paralyzed due to Degenerative Myelopathy and is 16 and a half. She is going through her final journey in this life. She falls alot and I thought it would be more comfortable picking her up with this harness than her regular harness. But no the buckel is way to high on her body and so picking her up makes it uncomfortable. I will donate it to a rescue in my area. Thank you.
didn't fit
The piece that goes down the chest and under the belly moves from side to side as the dog walked - no matter how tight I made the underbelly strap, my dog would always get a front leg out of the harness. I have a 15 lb dachshund.
German Shepherd
I ordered Frisco harness for my dog. We went for our 1st walk ¬ only was this affordable but fit very well. In addition, I had much better control with less effort. She seemed to enjoy much more than the collar! Sincerely, Kathi. (Lilly's Mom)
Second harness
This is the second harness I bought from Chewy. It fits my growing new pup. Stylish and seems to comfortable for her. Chewy made the exchange process a breeze.
The material seems nice but it is too big.
I like the colors but the product is too big for my dog. Other reviews said it was sized smaller, so I got a large. It is too big for my dog. Material seems nice though. I donated it to a rescue.
Padded Harness
The harness was good quality, but too small. We measured our dog to fit, but it didn't. The 5 STARS were because when we called Chewy they apologized and a new one arrived 3 days later! We did not have to send back the smaller size, they suggested donating the other one (or keeping it), we gladly donated it. GREAT 5 STAR customer service!!
Not pleased
Will use for when I take her out with me but definitely not secure enough to let her out to run/go to the bathroom even after adjusting several times
Runs Large!
I ordered two of these harnesses as they are such a good deal! Both seem well made and very easy for my dog to wear. I followed instructions to measure my Maltese Curley. However, even with following the ordering guidelines these harnesses run large. I tightened them as much as able and it still didn't work. The danger in this is my crafty little Maltese will pull right out of it.
Good Value for the price
Doesn't fit my dog ( a 15 pound rat terrier) perfectly. But it works for our walks. You can.t beat the price. It looks fine in the photo. It's when she walks it droops down.
Super-easy to use
Our dog needs a padded harness--her front underarms (or whatever you call them on a dog) chafe with a regular harness. This is the easiest harness we've ever found to put on her. The leg holes are even marked Left and Right! And there's just one clip on top. So we're super-satisfied.
