Promptly wipe up any foreign matter or standing liquid. Machine wash separately on gentle cycle in a front load washing machine. Use cold water with mild detergent. Do not bleach. Hang to dry. Always make sure the cover and vehicle seat are dry before installing the seat cover.
Fasten the cover on the back seat and headrests Lay the cover in place on the back seat, loop the straps over the headrests, and adjust the strap length for a secure fit around the headrest.
Secure with the seat anchors Locate the two seat anchors sewn to the back of the cover. Push each anchor into the gap between the rear seat’s back cushion and bottom cushion. The anchors can be removed with a strong tug, but hold firmly enough to keep the cover in place under normal use.
Anchor with bottom corner straps (used only on some car models) If using as a bench seat cover find the two straps on the bottom corners of the cover and loop each one under the front corners of the seat. Adjust the straps for a snug fit (this is optional and might not work on some models if the seat is mounted to the vehicle floor.)

We recommend measuring the length and width of the bench seat. To find the width, measure across the seat (door to door). To find the length (front to back), measure across the seat. Then match the measurements with the car seat cover measurements.

I highly recommend this car seat cover! I needed a new Hammock Car Seat and this would be my third one that I am ordering. The other 2 I had were ok and didn't last long, so I decided to really look into the ones on the Chewy website since I am a long time Auto-Ship customer of theirs. I saw a few that looked good, and thought since they were on the high price side, I thought they had to be a better quality of the rest. I was so wrong!!! The pricey one that I ordered, ended up being on back order, and so I decided to buy the Frisco one, $20 cheaper. I forgot to cancel the pricey one, so that came in 3 days later. The quality difference between the pricey one couldn't compare to the Frisco one. The Frisco cover was thicker for cushioned comfort, stronger so not to be torn up easily, and had the pockets to put water, bags, etc in them. Easy to install and so glad I chose this one after all.
Most important: This hammock cover seems to be of excellent quality in materials and workmanship. I have no quibble there. I bought it because a black lab I’ve been transporting had just about destroyed my back seat with dirt, hair, and snags on my grey cloth upholstery. I bought the hammock vs a regular seat cover hoping to keep the mess off the seats and floor as well. I guess the hair just floats because I had to remove my weather mats yesterday to get rid of the piles of hair on the floor. I noticed that there is more hair on the seat top by the headrest. (I had the car detailed before installing the hammock.) I find the dog seems visually confused and now hesitates to jump in the car. One last thing, she is not crazy about the texture of the hammock and whines because she can’t get her footing. I think I’m going to detach it from the front headrests and just try it as a “blanket” that covers seat and floor. I was hoping for a miracle and didn’t get one. You may feel differently.
My 53 lbs. dog doesn’t move around much in the car. He doesn’t shed, isn’t a drooly dog, and isn’t very messy, so just needed something to prevent dirt from get to big into the perforated seats. Very thick material, and stays in place. I couldn’t put the plastic handles into the back seats to secure in place the way the instructions described, but it wasn’t necessary. I prefer having my seat belts buckled in because my dog triggers the seat belt sensors, but I was able to loop the velcro pieces around the seat belts anyways.
Before purchasing you should know that there is no way for the rear air vents to ventilate the back while using this. Also, there is no protection for the car doors. If this item had the zip up sides (protecting the doors) and a mesh where heat and air could go through, it may be worth the price. I’m in California where it gets really hot so I’m not sure if this will work for us. Would like to return but don’t know how.
Got this for trips to the beach and long car rides. Our 90 lb. Golden Retriever is a nervous traveler so he drools and sheds in the car. Have used it twice, once for twelve hours and once for two hours. Kept my seats and floorboards dry and clean. My backseat doesn’t have headrests or tether points on the back so I just tucked it in really tight. Maybe a welt or thin bar could be added across the top back to aid in tucking it in on vehicles like mine? Other than that small design flaw, it works great. I just took it out, shook the dog hair off and threw it over the deck to dry.
When I say this is THE BEST hammock, I 100% stand by that. This hammock holds up so well, is durable, and cleans up easily. It will easily hold our hound mix, Aussie mix, and English bulldog with no problem. My only problem is getting it to hook onto the underside of my seat, but that’s because I drive a Subaru Outback and the seat is not design with an opening. No fault of the hammock. I cannot recommend this enough and even bought a second one for my partner’s vehicle. Love it!
So you’re scrolling and trying to decide which seat cover is best for the money and can’t decide whether you want to buy this cheaper one or the more expensive versions. Just buy this one. It’s very well made and surprisingly thick. There’s no way others are worth double or triple the price compared to this one. This completely covers the back seat in a 2023 civic and could be used in bigger cars as well.
We bought a new vehicle and the carpet is black, our fur baby is a golden retriever and sheds a lot, regular vacuums won't pullup her hair, so rather than drive myself crazy trying to keep things clean, I saw this on the website and had to order it. It is adjustable and does fit all types of vehicles and keeps her hair off my seat and carpet, while keeping her comfortable
We have two new rescues without much car experience. I ordered this after one had an accident in the car one day. Yes, it happened again, and it did not leak through the cover onto the car’s seat. I’m very pleased. It feels very durable and once it dries I’ll put it back into the car.
Worked fine for about 2 years and then started coming apart on the bottom rear main seam. For something used only every now (maybe once every week or two) that's pretty disappointing.
