Great crate mats

Great crate mats for the money and they hold up to multiple washings. I bath my dogs and all their belongings once a week as we hike go to the dog park ect and these have lasted months. These mats are a little thin but not bad at all compared to some I have tried. My one pug has to be crated at night and these are perfect. I wish they had more colors to be able to match my crate covers and topper.

Good but larger than you'd think

Since Peaches' crate is listed at 32" in length, I purchased the 30" version of this mat (which is actually 29.5" in length). It's a nice mat--not very thick, but cozy and soft on both sides. It definitely helps reflect heat back to you, just like the minky/sherpa throws they sell everywhere. However, when I put it into her crate, it was a bit large, curling up on the sides a bit. Unfortunately, Peaches can sometimes chew from boredom, so even though I placed the sherpa fleece side down, she pushed the mat around and started chewing on the nap. I swapped this into Ginger's 40" crate, where it fits nicely, width-wise, and only leaves a few inches uncovered in length. She loves it fleece side up, and is much more willing to lay down in her crate. For Peaches, I used the mat I originally had in Ginger's crate--the 30" Frisco Micro Terry Dog Crate Mat. That mat seems very durable, and she doesn't seem interested in chewing it. It's actually 29" long, so it curls up just slightly at the edges, but we're still able to close the crate door easily. Bottom line, measure the inside of your crate floor versus going by the stated product dimensions, as even an inch of difference can make a mat awkward. And if your dog is a chewer, this is definitely not the mat for you.

my dog did not like it

Received today laid it in her kennel. We went to the store and came back to she tore up this product .The product has silver metallic stuff inside and our dog did not like it and tore it up. She has a smaller bedding that has foam only and she never ripped it up. So she’s back to her old bedding Waste of money for me. If your dog does not like crinkle noise don’t buy it! So upset and disappointed

perfect size and comfort

I love these beds and the dogs say they love them too,. :) They fit perfect, are not super thick and while I haven't cleaned yet, seems like they will fit in the washer just fine.

Not really washable

I buy beds and warm mats for local shelters and they have to be super easy to wash. I got 2 of these -XXL - instead of the K&H this time. They are very difficult to wash and dry - stiff and difficult to get dry. For at home use, maybe a cover would make things easier. Probably, a smaller size would clean better, as well.

she loves it

bought this to use on top of our german shepherds bed in her crate. put the sherpa side up, she was on it and napping in the first hour. i think the body heat generating to her hips feels good. very happy with this purchase. made well, quick ship.

Disappointed

Overpriced and misleading description all padding even the skimpy padding on this product are “self warming” I bought two and each one was shipped in their own box both so large they could have put in a half dozen of them as they required no packing material.

Best thing for winter

I should have bought this years ago for my aging girl. Was skeptical that she would like this as she has a tendency to bunch up all the blankets and mats in her playpen. But this did the job -- she settled on this warming mat and stayed put. I could tell she appreciated the warmth and comfortability. Great product!

My pup loves his warming mat!

My pup has always been comfortable in his crate. Even after we took the door off, he still likes to go in there to sleep. After getting the warming mat - he wants to be in there all the time!

Completely worthless.

I purchased this mat and another brand; I figured I had to get lucky with one of them. I personally sat on both of them for 15 minutes and absolutely nothing happened. Gave it one star because I had to.
