First time flea
Never dealt with fleas before, and recently I found about 2-3 on my dog. I went to the nearest pet store and picked up frontline shield. This worked like a charm. Be sure to apply to skin and not fur. I have not seen a flea on him since, and I saw the ones fall off his coat slowly dying/already dead. In addition I got the vets best home spray to spray upholstery to kill the life cycle of any eggs that may be lying around. Cleaned all sheets/clothes on hot, rid his dog bed and now I’m week 4 without seeing a single flea since application. This will kill fleas and prevent them on your dog. In addition, treat any home areas that may have been exposed to flea eggs

Love the great price and free shipping on products. Also the Auto ship so I don"t run out of Frontline.
doesn't absorb well
I've used frontline products for my dogs for a very long time. Tried this product recently and it seems extremely greasy compared to frontline gold. Does not seem to absorb into either one of my dogs skin. Have to be careful not to touch my dogs for days and it would get on our furniture. Seemed to work for ticks and fleas but because of the lack of absorption Will be switching back to Frontline gold.
20+ year user
I've used frontline products for over 20 years. I have active hounds that run through the woods. Fleas and ticks used to stay away, the last 2 years the product hasn't worked as well. I have just switched to a new flea medication through the vet. No fleas. No more frontline.
I live in a heavy populated mosquito zone and this is the best I found. My dog has very sensitive skin and had no problems I used all through summer and it works great.
Expensive and did not work
Did not work. Fleas just partied and waved flags. By the 3rd treatment, no scratching. Have to find another brand immediately
I have been using advantage 2 but my dog was still getting fleas. I ordered this to change it up. This didn't work at all. After 1 week, my dog still had alot of fleas. Not worth the money.
Misleading Statements On Packaging
Packaging states Starts Killing Fleas in 5 Minutes* Starts Killing Ticks In 1 Hour* Repels Ticks and Mosquitoes Then at the bottom it states * Starting 2 days after treatment
Does the job
Only used one month, but it seems to be doing it's job. No issues with skin irritation and no sign of fleas or ticks so far.....though we're early in the season here
flea and tick
not working not enough to use for this size of dog
