This product requires assembly, it will come vacuumed sealed and you will have to assemble, you will have to wait several days for it to expand before your pet will be able to use comfortably

For optimum pet health, FurHaven uses CertiPUR-US certified foam. This domestic foam is made without PBDEs, toxic flame retardants, mercury, lead, and other heavy metals. Their foam is manufactured without formaldehyde, ozone depleters, and phthalates regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The Small bed can hold up to 20 pounds. The Medium bed can hold up to 35 pounds. The Large bed can hold up to 55 pounds. The Jumbo bed can hold up to 95 pounds. DO NOT BUY THIS DOH BED!!!!

I had purchased this very bed some years back and that bed lasted a super long time. Over six years of hard use! So I decided to purchase this bed again. The old

I had purchased this very bed some years back and that bed lasted a super long time. Over six years of hard use! So I decided to purchase this bed again. The old bed when it arrived came with its exterior cover already installed and ready for use. The new bad arrived in what I would call a shoebox size box. At that moment I knew something was off!!! When I opened the new box to my dismay I saw the foam insert in some type Of an air tight vacuum bag and it was again the size of a shoe box. On the bottom of the box after removing the vacuum packed foam was the cloth exterior Cover of this bed. Needless to say it took my arthritic hands almost 3 hours trying to put it all together! So all this being said if you are elderly or have any arthritis I would NOT EVER make this purchase and or never by anything from this manufacturer ever again. I had to have my neighbor's son come over and assemble this product and he even had great difficulty! STAY AWAY FEOM THIS MANUFACTURER!

I was originally extremely unhappy with this bed, as our older dog really needs good support for her knees. When it first unboxed, and even after two days, it looked extremely flimsy. But: after waiting a few more days, it FULLY inflated - it’s honestly an amazing bed. PLEASE give the bed time to fully inflate. Even a week will make a difference. This is a great product at a great price point - do NOT panic, if it doesn’t look good even after a day or two. It really does fluff up even further, if given time. A year later, we are buying a second and possibly a third, not because the first one had gone flat (it still hasn’t!) but because it’s now our pups favorite bed, and we want them in every room, for all her favorite spots. BE PATIENT with this bed!! It’s great!!

If there were negative stars, maybe that would rate the quality. While most things now are vacuum sealed, so was this. As soon as the package was opened I was worried this would never see its original form again and it didn't. The sides were still literal pancakes. Hoping it was was just a bed go round, we tried again. The second bed was even worse. Even if the foam itself would plump back to shape, the quality of the fabric was something to be desired. Unfortunately the second bed came with stains on the cover. For the cost, I felt that I needed to warn others. Do not buy!

The armrest parts of the bed are filled with chunks of egg crate foam pieces. The egg crate foam is highly compressible, not firm at all. A large dog will feel the floor through the foam.

I tried putting the bolster parts in the dryer with tennis balls and that didn't work to fluff it. It there are directions on how to get it to come to shape I could not find them in the box.

Unfortunately the bed is nothing like image. Even the color is totally different.. Barrier (the round the bed part like their little head rest) does NOT rise at all. I left it open for a few hours in the event in needed some time.. the foam for the primary part of the mattress DID rise but the rest didn’t. We’ve had orthopedic doggy beds before but this seem to match anything we’ve had before and I don’t really see any support offered. I think it’s fine for a general doggy bed if anything.
