Terrible cushioning
The shell of the bed seems ok, a little thin. Probably not going to hold up well. The cushion is the fun surprise. This is advertised as 4” egg crate cushioning for the jumbo size bed, but it is vacuum sealed for shipping and does not puff back up. I let it sit for 8 hours and it stayed flat, never returned to size. I will have to go get new cushioning for the bottom as it’s basically like laying on the floor for the dog as it is. I would not recommend this dog bed unless you are willing to go out and find your own padding.
Do not waste your money
I have bought 5 or 6 beds from chewy and usually don’t have a problem. I bought 3 of these beds and have opened 2 and let them inflate for 24 hours. Didn’t open the 3rd because it arrived a day later and the other two were already not inflating correctly. Sent an email to customer service and hope I can get a refund/return the 3rd item with no shipping cost to myself. My dog has had surgery on her leg and this will not be supportive for her.
Assembly required and subpar overall
I was surprised and annoyed to find that this bed was shipped unassembled and I had to wrestle the bolster and the (egg crate) mattress into the fabric cover. This has not been the case with any other bed I’ve purchased from Chewy and it proved to be a difficult and frustrating task. Once assembled, the mattress and bolsters were mushy and unsupportive compared to his other bed. Will probably keep it as a backup since I got it on sale but definitely would not buy it again or recommend it.
Not as good quality as four years ago
My dog has three of these. One in the bedroom, one in the living room and one in the sunroom. They have lasted for years. However I have had the quilted tops replaced as that part doesn’t last very long. I’ve never had an issue with the amount of padding in the actual bed. The newest bed just purchased is really skimpy on both the bolsters and the bottom mattress. Since it was on sale I didn’t complain but it certainly can’t replace her other bed that was ripping out.
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Y’all sent the same size bed in TWO DIFFERENT sized boxes. One came in the box it’s supposed to and the other came squished in a smaller box. One side of the NON ORTHOPEDIC(y’all claimed they were) bed the eggcrates won’t fill out now so there’s a dip in the bed. I don’t understand what I’m paying $59 for. It shows these being on sale and that worries me y’all are charging more for these beds. I was expecting my dogs to have comfort and that’s not what they are getting. Not to mention they are two different in thickness sized pads. Same length and width just different thickness. Also when putting the “cushion” into bed cover, they seem to have different ways of zipping them into place. They aren’t even made the same way. They both claim to be jumbo size but completely two different sizes as you can see. I’m so upset I feel like I’ve been scammed. I won’t be ordering from here ever again.
Cheap, missing cushions
I'll preface by saying it is not worth the price. This bed is not orthopedic in the slightest and is instead made of cheap egg crate foam, and awful for my senior dog. Not only that but it was missing some of the cushions when I received the order, leaving part of the bed limp entirely with zero support for Bandit. I would have expected this quality from something I paid $20 for, but I paid more than double that for this. Not worth it in the slightest and hoping for a refund.
Do Not Buy This Dog Bed
I have purchased numerous dog beds from Chewy and always had good experiences. This started off strange because I had to assemble the bed myself with the foam pad and the bumper zipping into a cover, that sort of t-shirt quality, very thin fabric. ItThis is an hour later. I appreciate that Chewy refunded my money as this bed was so poor quality, an hour later it was ruined. Don’t buy it.
Great bed for the price
My new 80 lb rescue boy is a digger, and dug through the beds that I already had in the house from prior dogs. I was looking for a great looking replacement, at a reasonable price just in case he dug through this one too. Well he immediately climbed into it and fell asleep. I have heard him digging a little but so far, not a scratch on the bed. I picked the navy blue and it is a very pretty dark navy.
My dog loves this
My dog Milo loves his new bed. The material is soft, cushiony, and cool. Other orthopedic beds have a warm, furry top, which I'm sure is great for dogs with thin coats. But my dog runs hot in his thick coat, so this bed works much better for him.

I seriously think these beds are a joke. I ordered tow JUMBO beds and my fifty pound bulldogs cover them completely. Secondly these are NOT ORTHOPEDIC BEDS, the insides are just egg crate foam with a cheap cover. I was told by my vet that due to joint problems get orthopedic beds for both dogs. When they lay down on them they compress completely not giving them enough padding. The covers are removable but I see them falling apart after a washing or two. So to summarize poor quality all around and definitely not orthopedic.
