Worth The Money
I got this because you don’t have to hold a button for the laser. The black light sucks on this though! You have to be super close in order for it to work. The flashlight is nice to have but the way the lens bulges out actually messes with the laser beam. Sometimes it’ll shine in a different direction and it’s easy to accidentally shine in the kittys eyes which I don’t like. It only does that depending on how you hold the laser though.
Good, but could be better
The laser light is pretty good, but the design of the unit causes interference with the beam and splits it into multiple parts. This sometimes confuses the pet and could cause one of the stray beams to shine in their eyes while they're playing with the main beam. - The white light comes in handy on occasion. - The UV light is in the wrong frequency of the UV spectrum and no where near strong enough to use for detecting urine crystals, so they would have been better off leaving it out. Lights that are made for that purpose are in the 365 to 385 nanometer range and are much higher intensity, using multiple emitters to generate the needed brightness. This one is more of a novelty toy to entertain someone by shining it on random objects. - Being rechargeable does eliminate the need to buy those expensive little silver oxide button cells. It would have been better if they'd have used a replaceable cell like an 18650 rechargeable. Then a spare could be on hand to swap out and a new one could be found to replace one no longer holding a charge. As it is, once this one fails, the unit becomes trash.
Best red bug EVER!
I chased and chased it and it never got dim or TIRED! And mom didn't have to quit the game because her hands with arthritis were hurting. I will be able to continue to play no matter what because it doesn't have batteries that will quit before I do. Mom says it's lighter in her hands and less cumbersome because it doesn't have the keyring attached or a push button to turn on, a slide switch!!! The only problem with no ring is I can't hear it when it gets moved or picked up so I don't know to ask to play, mom doesn't understand that as a problem.
Does Not Hold A Charge
So extremely disappointed in this product. Used it one time and furkids loved it. Left it charging overnight and NOTHING. Many, many reviews with same issue. I do not recommend this product.
Great purchase!
I'm really happy with this purchase! I like that it stays on without needing to constantly push the button. It slides on and stays on. Also, it saves batteries with the ability to plug it in for charging.
Just plain awesome
The laser runs for hours on a charge. The flashlight is just OK. The black light can be very handy. And it's rechargeable! This is far cheaper than buying the disposable pointers that fall apart before the batteries die. Highly recommended.
best laser pointer for my cat ever!
Both me & my cats LOVE this laser pointer! I adore that it is rechargeable & the light is SOOOO bright that you can play with it a room filled with daylight! Even my senior cat, who hasn’t been interested in toys for some time, goes wild when I pull this toy out!
Great Buy! Cats Love it!
My cats love this! The other cheaper one I got had a weak light and only one of my cats would play with it and it broke not long after I got it. This one the light is strong and the dot is bigger, now both cats play with it all the time. They know where I keep it when not playing and if I go near the drawer they are right there, waiting for me to get it out. Worked right out of the package, don't have to hold the button down to keep it on, the UV light comes in handy to see any places I missed after washing out the cat box. The flashlight is more of a spotlight, but comes in handy as a backup flashlight. Haven't had to charge it yet, but I am glad the buying/changing battery days are over!
Best Laser Pointer Toy
No more having to give up before your cat because your thumb is killing you. The on/off switch is great and it's rechargeable. Two thumbs and 6 paws up
Great the first week
It was everything I wanted and could fit on my Keychain, but it was not to be. As mentioned in another review the laser light is obstructed right from the start and doesn't shine clean. The switch when used would push the components inside the metal housing forward until the cap holding all the lights pushed out of the end and somewhere inside the wires would stop making the proper contact to charge or to just work. I tried pushing the end cap back in with each use but the components eventually didnt work. Lasted about 2-3 weeks before it stopped working altogether. It's a shame, it was great for helping find my keys and unlocking my front door. But worst of all was seeing the disappointment on my cats faces when it stopped working. THAT you can't put a price on!
