Our cats LOVE fishing poles and they destroy the feathers, but this has several replacements. We can also have a fishing pole in each room or with the preferred tip for each cat. And this is so cheap it was actually a better deal to buy this again rather than purchase the replacement tips. The replacement pack was $2 cheaper, but if you get this again, you get two more poles!

My cat played very hard with these wand toys for hours, and she absolutely loved the feather attachments. Unfortunately, the wire wand became kinked over time and

My cat played very hard with these wand toys for hours, and she absolutely loved the feather attachments. Unfortunately, the wire wand became kinked over time and developed sharp edges. I covered those areas with medical tape to protect her mouth and paws, but eventually the wire broke. We definitely got our money's worth in terms of playtime, but I did have ongoing safety concerns with the wire. Because of that, I have since switched to a different replacement wand.

This is the second time I've purchased this toy. When one attachment gets worn out, there are plenty of extras to easily attach, any of three types (feathers, fuzzy worm, and string). One cat likes only the string, and the other likes the worm and feathers. Something for everyone! Plus, the two poles make it easy to play in any room. Love it!

Economical toy

I like that the toy extends and contracts and that it uses fishing line rather than string. My cats always chew on the line and this is holding up better than string

I like that the toy extends and contracts and that it uses fishing line rather than string. My cats always chew on the line and this is holding up better than string. The feathers themselves are ok, economy grade feathers. The one thing I don't like is the little bell. It is a choking hazard. I removed the bell before I let my cats play with the toy.

My cat is crazy about these toys. He grabbed one of the extra toy attachments and ran off with it, and in the evening sits by the cabinet where I have the poles

He grabbed one of the extra toy attachments and ran off with it, and in the evening sits by the cabinet where I have the poles and the attachments and stares at them until I play with them. Even after he is tired when I put them up he will follow me over to the cabinet where they're kept.

Wish it was a bit thicker

4.5 I love that these extend, and they are long enough to give a good flick of the lure while extending out enough that my cat is moving around a lot. A lot of these

4.5 I love that these extend, and they are long enough to give a good flick of the lure while extending out enough that my cat is moving around a lot. A lot of these twos are too short and don't flick well. Unfortunately, for larger cats, they are strong enough to break it within the first day. I have had other extending wands, and they always seem to break in the same place - just past the first (closest to the hand) extension on the second section. Luckily, this comes with two wands, so I used the other, and I am careful about how hard my cat pulls. He loves the fuzzy ones more than the feathers, btw. I don't often need to retract the toy, so I was able to get some heat shrink tubing and create a brace around the break with two splints and not extending that second section all the way. The amount of lures, the strength of the wire, and the extensions make this a good choice in my opinion. Just mind where it tends to break.
