About Fussie Cat

Co-Created by Cats

Instead of just assuming what kind of food cats will like, Fussie Cat lets them call the shots. Each recipe is co-created and taste-tested by cats to make sure your own kitty will love it. Aside from being highly palatable, Fussie Cat wet and dry foods are full of quality meats like boneless chicken, duck, tuna, shrimp and prawns to make sure your little carnivore is getting the protein-rich, feline-appropriate diet she needs.

Made for Meat Lovers

If there's one thing cats crave, it's the rich taste of pure meat. It makes sense, because they're obligate carnivores. Your four-legged friend probably lets you know exactly what she likes, and it's sure to be fish, poultry or meat. Fussie Cat has farm-raised poultry, ocean fish from the South Pacific, and a whole range of interesting seafood options like Threadfin Bream, smoked tuna, mussels, clams and anchovies.

Physiologically Correct Diets

Knowing that cats need meat protein to survive, Fussie Cat developed formulas that they call Physiologically Correct. As true carnivores, their bodies are extremely efficient in processing meat, so 20% of their diet should come from animal proteins. Fussie Cat's foods start with meat, are low in carbs and include a complete spectrum of essential vitamins and minerals. You can be sure your kitty's getting all the necessary amino acids, protein and other nutrients.

Kitty's Choice

With two canned food lines and several tempting dry food options, your cat can always have the dinner she prefers. Fussie Cat Premium is a tuna-based menu that pairs this popular fish with chicken or seafood delicacies. Super Premium is made for chicken lovers with boneless chicken, low sodium levels and plenty of omegas. Market Fresh dry foods are crunchy and delicious, with proteins full of vitamin B12, and antioxidant-rich cranberries and blueberries.

Outstanding Quality Control

Fussie Cat makes their top-quality foods in an FDA-registered kitchen—the same kitchen that produces canned food that's fit for people to eat. Thorough quality inspections are conducted daily for food safety, heavy metals, pathogens, contamination and pesticides, so the end product is everything that you should expect it to be.

About Fussie Cat

Fussie Cat uses a carnivore-friendly, meat-first philosophy to provide wholesome meals that are full of the animal proteins your cat needs to thrive. Meat is always the main course, and carbohydrates only appear in limited amounts. They've created recipes that not only pass the strictest international food safety tests, but also kitty taste tests with flying colors. Cats from all corners of the U.S. will find all their favorites in Fussie Cat's Market Fresh dry foods and flavorful wet foods.

Cats Love it!!!

We have 3 cats. And we change their food from Friskies to this one, and they Love it. It's natural, and it's good for their digestion.

LOVE! NOM NOM SUPREME!

I highly recommend this Fussie Cat food. Usually, I feed my cats organic home cooked special diets. Their home cooked meals include organic free range chicken or fowl, bone brith and other nutrients. When it’s cooking, my neighbors say it smells amazing and comment on how spoiled my gourmand cats are. It is very hard to convince my cats to eat anything of lesser quality . I’m fine with that, but recent health issues made it hard for me to cook as often. I needed to have back up food on hnd. I’m pleased to say they LOVE this food. Apparently it’s right on par with my fresh organic home cooked meals. The ingredients are trustworthy, species appropriate & healthy. It smells like human food. It‘s morsels of chicken ( not shreds!) in a hydrating broth with tiny kitten sized bites of diced pumpkin. If your cats love to drink soupy flavors & gnaw real chunks of meat, thy will LOVE this! Meows & purrs all the way!

Surprised!

When the Chewy Tuna & chicken in Aspic wasn’t available I tried substituting the chicken and beef. The chicken looks like human grade but my 5 kitties would not eat it. Even tried mixing with a food they liked but still rejected it. The meat is kind of stringy which I think has a lot to do with it so tried cutting it up for them. Gave some to a friend to try but his 2 kitties didn’t care for it easier.

Good, healthy food

This is a good, healthy food with no listed no no's that are in most. Out of my 11 cats, maybe 3 of 4 will eat it,(only reason for 4 stars) but that's okay, at least it's not going to waste because we all know how finicky cats can be. It's a shredded chicken and beef recipe with pumpkin which is good for digestion in a soup that is more meat than liquid. It is one of the healthier foods out there with high protein and 0% carbs according to catfood database. The only questionable ingredient is tapioca starch and if you have a cat with fish allergies, it does contain tuna oil. Good food if you don't have picky eaters!

Great Choice!

Most cat food doesn’t even look or smell like food. Then there’s Fussie Cat!! It looks and smells like real food and my cats are crazy for it! I’ve finally found a cat food that they like and I don’t have to light a candle anymore to get rid of the smell!

Where's the Beef?

Bobby loves the "soup" part What there is of it. I thought since it said soup there would be more of the soup part. Loaded with chicken, but I don't see the beef. I am going to try pureeing it so the chicken incorporates more in soup.

Ok for one cat but not the other

This definitely appears to be premium quality food, and I had high hopes. One cat eats it no problem, but my other cat has a really strong aversion to something in it, I believe the pumpkin. I can't feed it to either of them because if he even smells it he gets sick. The rest is being fed to the ferals outside. I'm still giving some stars because I think it's some unusual problem my cat has, it's probably fine for most.
