The amount of food your cat needs will vary depending on breed, activity level, age and climate. Use our feeding chart as a guide, adjusting the quantity fed to achieve your cat’s ideal weight.
We suggest feeding twice a day, kittens more often. Provide fresh, clean water at all times. Love, attention, playtime and chin scratches should be given freely, as often as possible.
Pregnant/lactating females: increase intake by 50%.
It’s important to slowly transition your pet to a new food so their system has a chance to adapt to the change. The transition period should be at minimum, 10 days and could take upwards of 2 weeks, depending on your pet’s sensitivity to change. On day one, introduce 10% new food / 90% old food. Keep the food at this ratio for 2 or more days. Next, increase the ratio to 20% new food / 80% old food for 2 or more days. Repeat increasing in increments of 10% until you’re feeding 100% of the new food. If your pet experiences any kind of digestive upset during this time, try slowing down the process to let his/her digestive tract adjust to the new food. Some vomiting and/or diarrhea can be normal when introducing new foods as the digestive process and the naturally occurring bacteria your pet’s body requires is a complex and delicate system. If you experience any vomiting and/or diarrhea, be sure to reduce the amount of new food the next time you feed and overall, slow the whole transition period down even more.

I followed the feeding guidelines on your packaging, but my pet is too fat/thin. Why?
Feeding Guidelines are simply a place to start. You should increase or decrease the amount you feed based on your pet’s activity level and weight.
Are the ingredients used in Petcurean products “human-grade”?
All of our fresh meat and meat meal ingredients are sourced from animals passed fit for human consumption by the CFIA. The fruits and vegetables used in our recipes also come from the human food chain. We do not, however, claim that our ingredients are “human-grade”; once an individual ingredient leaves a “human-grade” processing facility and enters a “pet food” processor, the ingredient loses its “human-grade” classification.
What is an organic ingredient?
A certified organic ingredient provides a guarantee that the ingredient has met strict government standards for how food is grown, handled and processed; using organic agricultural methods. Organic agriculture focuses on farming practices that encourage soil and water conservation and regeneration, and reduces pollution. Organic farmers use natural fertilizers and pest control methods to benefit the soil, plants and animals for a healthy environment.
Where are your products made?
Petcurean dry pet foods are produced in Ontario, Canada. Our canned products are primarily produced in Ontario, Canada and secondarily at a plant in New Jersey, USA. Our SPIKE Jerky Treats are manufactured in Gainsville, Georgia and our SPIKE Treat Bars are made in Brampton, Ontario. All of the meat proteins, grains, cereals, fruits and vegetables in our GO! SOLUTIONS™, NOW FRESH™ and GATHER™ products are sourced from North America (as close to the production facility as possible)

Great for Cats AND ferrets
By Cassandra on Feb 6, 2021
I buy this brand because it is healthy for both ferrets and cats, and I wanted something that my 4 cats and ferret loved! The small kibble size is appreciated for the little noodle as well. :)

Go! Solutions Carnivore Chicken, Turkey, Duck
By OwnedBy2MaineCoonCats on Nov 30, 2020
I have 2 cats. One of them was willing, but only under protest, to eat this dry food. He let me know many times he would prefer something up to his standards, but if nothing else was available, he was willing to eat this. The other cat chose to starve rather than eat this, and instead rubbed against my legs constantly begging for something decent. I rated it a D+, since one cat was marginally OK with it, but I won't be buying any more. I want to meet the needs of both cats, and they both didn't like it.

Excellent food!
By Tiki on Aug 22, 2020
I have been feeding the senior version to my dog for a while now and finally switched my cat over to Go! too. She likes the taste, it keeps her fuller longer and is a high protein lower carb option, which is optimal for cats. Kibble size is important for my cat who has special needs, these are medium sized compared to some if that helps anyone. Hemi just turned 10 and her blood work recently was exceptional, our vet told me he wishes half his clients her age had bloodwork as good as hers. This made me feel like I made a good choice with this food, especially since she has other health problems. I highly recommend!

canadian cat food good job eh
By mumbasssa on Jun 7, 2020
my cats love this food so much, one in particular prefers this over wet cat food which is kinda sacrilegious in the catsphere its the second most nutritious food on a list i can't mention (scored 9.0)--the first cat food brand (scoring 10) which i can't also mention i tried to serve to them but they detested it with a passion--to the point that they will even eat around individual kibbles when i mixed it with a different food i drop this food and there's not a single crumb left behind mumbassa likes

Both older cats did not like it
By Melissa on Jun 4, 2020
Tried mixing this food in with the current food to switch both cats to a higher protein diet, and both cats repeatedly turned down the new Go! food and picked out their old food, leaving this new kibble behind. I’m thinking they didn’t enjoy the small sized kibble, as they are currently on Royal Canin brand for digestive health (wet and dry).

Puking has STOPPED!
By Alex on Apr 29, 2020
I have an older cat and we have been going through a rough time(about 5 months of which we spent going to the vet multiple times) with finding a food she wouldn’t puke from. We have tried wet food dry food with more protein than grain, grain-free wet and dry, gluten free dry, NOTHING ever worked. Even the vet recommendations didn’t help her keep her food down. I bought a 3-lb bag of Go! So far it has been a week and a half of no puking and I am grateful. It seems she really likes this one and it is really easy on her stomach even my younger cat likes this one. Thank you Go!

Not sure cats like this
By Gmom on Mar 20, 2020
I did a lot of research on the best dry cat food. I also feed canned. I rotate brands and proteins. When I put this out for them I notice they are hardly eating it. My cats are big and the kibble is a small round ball. Maybe this is an issue? Hard to tell why they aren’t scarfing it down. I cannot buy again. Dang it was so promising!

It's Purrrrrfect
By Hananah on Feb 15, 2020
I have one indoor cat who is extremely lazy and LOVES food. He will eat anything! So surprisingly we have always had trouble managing his weight. I tried several different foods, but this one seemed to help the most. It also helped with his oily, flaky skin. His coat is now incredibly soft and healthy.
