Grandma's Special Tummy Remedy

Grandma's Special Tummy Remedy

Simple Remedy is just what the (doggie) doctor ordered for an upset stomach. It's the traditional recipe for nausea, vomiting and diarrhea that's easy to digest and gentle on the stomach. This formula is recommended by veterinarians as something you can feed your pup in place of his regular meal until he's back to normal. The recipe is simple—just boneless, skinless chicken breast meat and plain white rice. Add some water, and it's ready to serve!

  • Back to her old self

My Luna was losing weight fast and was simply not her normal energetic self. She was lethargic, was sick with throwing up and diarrhea. She was so bad that she wasn't able to make it outside to go on her potty walks. I had her to the vet where they did blood work and scans but found nothing. I then began to do my own leg work on what might be wrong. My first thought was IBS but wasn't sure if dogs go it like people. Found that yes they do. As I read what fellow pup parents had to say I found some made recommendations on the food they tried. One of them was Grandma Lucy's Artisan. My Luna is back to her active self again and our potty breaks are back to normal. I am getting ready to make another purchase of Grandma Lucy's Artisan and since the Chicken was such a hit, I'm going to try another meat. Thank you to Grandma Lucy's Artisan. … more

  • Great product

    By on

I am very impressed with Grandma Lucy's Freeze Dried Dog Food! I have 3 dogs, 2 Border Collies and an 12 year old Golden Retriever. The Golden has problems swallowing and she would choke on the dry kibble. With Grandma Lucy's she has no problem! As a matter of fact, all my girls are eating a little slower and loving their new food! Thank you!!

  • Pathetic excuse for food!

    By on

I ignored some of the reviews and purchased this anyway as my sister used to use it for her dog. I am shocked to find that in a 3 pound bag there were barely 4 pieces of chicken in it. It looks more like strained baby food when made. Waste of my hard earned money! Thought I would give it a try but I am better off with the Sojo's and Tylee. Extremely disappointed!

Give it a few minutes for the fish to soak up the water...after that, stand back. Dogs said good to the last bite! From 3 1/2 lb Chihuahua to 45 lb Beagle....Mini Schnauzers too!

  • EASY TO PREPARE & DOGS LOVE IT

    By on

I've been feeding raw for 20 years now. This is the first time I've tried a freeze dried total meal like this. I was a bit skeptical, but this stuff is great. I have 4 dogs and they all love it. As soon as they see the bag, they wait patiently for their bowls to hit the floor. It's very convenient, has all the veggies and meat already in there, and you just add hot water. In 5 minutes, it's ready to serve. We've tried the pork recipe too and it's also a big hit.

  • Expensive potato flakes

    By on

This is the most expensive bag of potato flakes that I've ever purchased. Very few chicken chunks, some dried peas and carrots, but it's got to be 90%+ potato filler. If you're using this to mix with one of the more expensive freeze dried offerings that are primarily meat, ok, but as a stand alone meal, it is unacceptable. This is what I get for trying to be lazy about feeding real food!

  • Excellent

    By on

I have been feeding my dogs Grandma Lucy's Artisan for 4 years and they absolutely love it! I'm always complimented on how beautiful their coats are. The price has steadily gone up though and with 6 Shepherds it's starting to get really expensive. But the food is excellent.

  • Super picky dogs LOVE THIS!

    By on

I have been feeding this to my dogs for the past two weeks (mixed with their kibble). My dogs are SUPER PICKY. Every so often we have Spaghetti night-I make a vegan spaghetti dinner and dogs are so excited for their small portion. First time ever they turned it down. So I made this mix, with their kibble, and they not only licked the bowls clean, they wanted more! I am thrilled to find a product they actually enjoy consistently :-)
