great food!

My dogs love this food! They eat the freeze-dried bits first, then the kibble. I had been having trouble getting them to eat anything. This did the trick!

This is my sofa’s favorite food and flavor!

Due to the high cost, I can’t afford to feed my three large breed dogs entirely Stella’s, but I’ve been adding it to their regular kibble to spice it up after having won a Stella’s gift basket from our local Pet Supplies Plus grand opening raffle and trying it out on the dogs. One of my seniors was just diagnosed with a severe health issue and has lost a lot of weight and his appetite. He’s become so picky, but will eat just about any kibble if I add some Stella’s kibble to it. The dogs like all of the flavors, but they go nuts for the freeze dried raw chunks that come in the Prarie recipe! It’s really helped with his recovery and hopefully his longevity too.

Dogs Can Take it or Leave It

Purchased because of deal on this brand. I thought my dogs would love it but it just got a luke- warm reception. They will eat it if there is nothing else. I donated it already. Won't buy again.

Great quality ingredients, almost like raw

I don't normally feed kibble, I prefer frozen raw. However, one pup, Willow, will not eat raw. She is an EXTREMELY picky eater. Typically eats the Stella and Chewys freeze dried and The Real Meat Company air dried. She was not eating well, so I added some of this in the rotation and she enjoys it every couple of days. I hate when she doesn't eat anything as I know that is just gonna upset her tummy. The ingredients read like raw (with some grain), so if I forget to defrost some for the other two, I feel ok giving them this.

Underwhelmed

I was so excited to pick up a bag of this to try since my dog has loved other Stella & Chewy's raw toppers. Like others I was a bit disappointed by the ratio of kibble to freeze-dried. I'm even more disappointed by how my dog has felt since starting it. He has been hesitant to eat it since the first bowl but is a GSD so picky eating isn't unusual, though usually he's excited about a new food. Unfortunately, despite doing a full 2 week transition my dogs gastric upset has continued to increase and he is actively avoiding the food. Going to have to give it a pass in the future and switch off ASAP. Not a good fit for us.

The Absolute Best

My dog absolutely loves this food and I love the clean ingredients. My dog has IBD so she needs a higher protein, lower carb diet and this hits all the necessary marks. I also like that this one in particular has no peas, lentils, legumes, or potatoes but DOES include wholesome grains, all of which help ease my mind with the recent dcm links. A bit of a higher price point but it’s so worth it knowing my dog is getting the very best. I pair with freeze-dried raw and drizzle some bone broth over top and bon appetit. She eats it right up.

Great food for my picky eater

I was very relieved when I tried this food and my VERY picky eater actually liked it. I must have tried nearly ten different brands of food, different types of food, too, before finding this. I think the coating makes all the difference, or at least it did for my dog.

This food changed my blue heeler for the better! His poos are better he has more energy and is happy to eat his food.
