After realizing how unhealthy these were, I checked the one-star reviews and saw that someone fell for these and read the ingredients too late, like I did. These are cute little bear-shaped treats (as if dogs care) and they actually smell really good - I think "oven baked" is the only true thing on the package. But it's incredibly bold and arguably deceptive to put on the package "with banana & sweet potato" and have pictures of sweet potatoes and bananas when it's actually POWDER at the very end of the ingredient list, which means there's barely any. Essentially these are organic flour, cane sugar, palm oil, brown sugar, then more cane sugar in syrup form and then the last four ingredients include banana and sweet potato POWDER - keep in mind that the list is always in decreasing order so that means there's barely any. Flour and sugar are not "the highest-quality ingredients for dogs." I always thought dogs were not supposed to have sugar(?) I checked all the other treats I have and none have sugar. For a second, I thought I accidentally bought human treats, which these probably could be. Lesson learned.
These things are so good that if I was desparate for a treat, I could eat them. We (the dog and I) also like the lemon flavor Grandma Lucy's. They are well made, nothing bad in them.
My dogs love these and they're picky as they get home cooked organic food. I would prefer the yreats didn't have cane molasses but (I think) ok if you're just giving a few a day.
My dogs LOVED these treats (and the blueberry flavor, also). They would get extra excited when I was giving them these. I like that they are organic and vegetarian which is excellent since one of my dogs has protein allergies (my dogs eat a variety of fresh fruits and veggies as treats) . The dogs like these so much, I'm ordering more before I run out. Will definitely be a staple in our home from now on. Thanks for a healthy quality product you feel good about giving your pet.
I'm always on the lookout for new healthy snacks for my two dachshunds, one of whom is 16 years old. Sweet potatoes are always good--help digestion--but the banana flavor in these cute, crunchy treats really get the boys excited. Glad I found them. They're permanently on my autoship.
All Grandma Lucy dog cookies are great. Few ingredients and healthy. I ate one by mistake!!!, was horrified for a moment but realized these taste like human cookies!! Dogs love them!
My puppy loves these! They’re not to hard to chew - they have just the right amount of crunch. They have great organic ingredients so I am one happy pup mom!!!
All of the ordered treats were broken with most in crumbles.
Our dog loves the treats they are cut cute to little bears. They will be on our auto ship.
My dogs loved these. You could smell the banana as soon as you opened the bag.
