What is the shelf life for these, once the package is opened?

All GREENIES treats should stay fresh until the Best By Date stamped in black on the back of the bag when unopened. Once opened, we recommend recommend feeding a bag within a couple of months of opening. We also recommend closing the bag tightly after each opening and storing it in a cool, dry place for best results.

must taste good

My dog Riley takes multiple medication‘s twice a day and we’ve been giving him the pills in the peanut butter pill pockets, but after several he’s finally had enough so because he can’t eat chicken or chicken flavored due to his allergy I tried him on the cheese with my fingers crossed. Now he eats it like a little treat and I only have to pill him occasionally. They come fresh and soft so that pills can be inside of them very easily. Worth the little extra cost and just happy that Riley is taking his medicine in the pill pockets. It’s much than pilling him.

My girl will generally eat any pill ontop of her food or out of my hand. So when she refused a pill, I knew it must have been gross! We've been wrapping a large pill in (partial) slices of cheese. She loves the cheese, but it doesn't easily wrap around the pill and we felt bad about her eating Kraft. I bought these just to try something new and she loves them. They mold around the pill (or multiple pills). The only thing I don't like is that when I reach into the bag to grab one, I get a little bit of the product under my nail.

My dog has an allergy to storage mites and I have to buy smaller amounts and keep the dry food in the freezer due to her allergies

The best for hiding pills!

I've used greenies pill pockets for years and they're so much easier than trying to hide pills in cheese, peanut butter, or anything else. They're a bit pricey,

I've used greenies pill pockets for years and they're so much easier than trying to hide pills in cheese, peanut butter, or anything else. They're a bit pricey, but definitely worth it! My dogs, even the picky ones, love these pill pockets and think it's a treat. The capsule size are quite large and I've found that my smaller dogs will eat the pocket and spit out the pill if I use too much of the pill pocket, so I recommend using smaller pieces, just enough to fully cover the pill so they don't spit it out. Try whatever works best for your dog. Love the capsule size though as I can easily tear it apart to size it however I need to for the dog and the pill size.
