This spray is intended to repel and subdue dogs when sprayed into their eyes or nose. It is not intended to be sprayed on other areas or items.
Is this considered pepper spray?

This is a type of pepper spray designed for use with dogs. The Capsaicinoids content on this spray is 0.35% which is the minimum range for dog attack sprays. Sprays for use on people range from 1.00% to 1.33%.

Safety first!

My Stella and I have been threatened twice in the past few weeks while walking the neighborhood. By loose dogs! So, now I carry this and feel much safer.

Halt

I used it when I was a postal worker. It stops dogs in their tracks. I always have some with me when I walk my dogs in case I run into any unfriendly dogs.

Absolutely works !

I have a neighbor that moved in a year ago. He has two labs who cause me so much stress with their barking and attacking my fence popping my boards out trying to get to my dogs. I’ve tried a hose , a bark deterrent, yelling; everything but talking to the neighbors. They have to hear them! But do nothing. So I bought two cans of this and finally tried it. I waited for them to jump on the fence then sprayed between the boards, they retreated!!! So absolutely happy with this purchase that my dogs and I can enjoy our yard without the hassle of barking and attacking neighbors dogs.

Dog Repellent Spray is a Must Have.

My postal worker gave me the spray that the Postal Workers use for aggressive dogs while delivering mail in the neighborhood. After using it, I purchased Halt! Dog Repellent from Chewy and bought extra cans of it to pass out to neighbors who walk their dogs daily. I feel a lot safer walking in the neighborhood now after having an encounter recently with a very aggressive and loose dog who attacked my furbaby.

HALT! Animal repellent

Makes me feel safer when I take my pups for a walk. There are way too many irresponsible dog owners now. Dogs getting out of fences, people saying, “My dog just wants to sniff!” Let him sniff YOUR behind!

Haven't needed it yet

I bought this because there are too many off-leash/uncontrolled dogs in our area but I haven't used it yet. I did accidentally get myself with it, though. I sprayed a little in the kitchen sink and that was enough to get me coughing and eyes watering, so I imagine it'll work well if I ever actually need it.

Excellent Product

I wish I would have had this in my pocket before the three dogs broke away from their owner! I like the idea that I am not going to hurt the offending dog, just correcting when the other owner does not train.

Dog defense

I purchased 1 can of Halt for myself and 1 for my neighbor. We walk our small dogs and have concern for coming upon a stray dog. Stray dogs are rare in out neighborhood but there is always the possibility. Neither of us has had to use this product so I cannot speak to its effectiveness. The can appears easy to use and small enough to carry easily. There is comfort knowing that a method of defense is at hand if needed. The shipping was very speedy. I think I received three days after ordering. Thank you Chewy. I rated this 4 stars because I have not had reason to test it.
