Description

Protect yourself, your family and your pets by stopping aggressive dogs in their tracks with Halt! Dog Repellent Spray. Made from capsaicin—a natural occurring extract of peppers, this highly effective spray creates an instant but temporary sensation of heat and extreme discomfort that distracts and subdues the dog, so you can move away to safety. After a few minutes of discomfort, the dog will return to normal with no permanent injuries or side effects. The patented cap produces a liquid stream up to 12 feet, allowing you to precisely spray the dog’s eyes and nose before he has a chance to reach you.

Key Benefits
  • Used by the U.S. Postal Service since 1966 to help thwart potential dog attacks and protect mail delivery personnel from injury.
  • Made with capsaicin, an extract of peppers, that causes an intense but temporary sensation of heat and extreme discomfort to instantly subdue aggressive dogs.
  • Patented combination belt clip and trigger cap features a handy finger guide that slides your finger into position and helps ensure the direction of spray.
  • Produces a liquid stream up to 12 feet so you can spray the dog before he reaches you; discomfort lasts for several minutes with no permanent injuries or side effects.
  • Recommended for property managers, bicyclists, delivery men, utility workers, dog trainers and anyone who encounters aggressive dogs while walking.
Precautions

Contact with capsaicin through touching or rubbing eyes with contaminated fingers or gloves may result in temporary eye irritation. Irritating to nose and skin. Do not get in eyes, on skin or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handing. Remove contaminated clothing and was clothing before reuse.

I hope I never have to use this spray but it gives me some peace of mind just carrying it. It fits in a jacket pocket easily and clips to a waistband securely.

    Halt for Aggressive Dogs

By Kimmy on Sep 30, 2021

I haven't had to use it yet thank goodness but feel much safer walking my dog. The price was reasonable too. I like that it won't permanently hurt another dog but will stop it long enough for you to flee.

So glad I had Halt on me.

By Vermonter on Jul 18, 2021

My little dog and I had experienced a loose dog charging at us earlier this summer. While we were unhurt, I was shaken up and bought Halt for peace of mind hoping not to have to use it. Unfortunately I had to use it today. It worked as advertised, it slowed down the charging dog long enough for the owner to take it away. Would it work for an aggressive dog in the middle of nowhere? Probably not. But it worked for us today in a neighborhood with the owner nearby. I’ve ordered another canister since I squirted most of my can today!

By Suze on Aug 9, 2021

This handy dandy item is easy to carry, slip in a pocket. I feel safer walking my dog in the neighborhood. I have met up with 2 dogs charging at me at different times. Good to have a deterrent.

    A caring company

By Champ on May 21, 2021

I can’t say enough about this company. They really do care. When my 140 lb Shepherd was stricken with Lyme and could barely walk, they rapidly sent me the boots he desperately needed. He’s made a 99% recovery, he fought his way back like a Champ living up to his name.

Easy Carry, And Brings Peace of Mind

It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
