Description

Comfy meets controlled in the Halti Dog Harness. This harness was specially designed to stop curious pups from pulling on their leads by using front control steering from the chest and shoulders. Unlike other anti-pull harnesses, the Halti Harness won’t put painful pressure on the body, so it’s always comfortable for dogs to wear. The harness’ two points of attachment also makes it ideal for using with Halti’s double-ended training lead. One end of the lead can attach to the front ring on the chest to steer while the other end can attach to the back ring at the shoulders to act as a brake.

Size

To get the most accurate size harness for your furry best friend, measure the girth of their chest, just behind the front legs, with a cloth tape measure. Pull the tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a tape measure, you can also use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there’s enough room for about two fingers between the harness and your pup’s chest.

Chest Girth: To make sure you purchase the right size harness for your canine companion, wrap the tape around the widest part of your dog’s torso, right behind the front legs. This is the most important part!

Lower Neck: Harnesses sit lower on the neck than collars, so measure from the lower part of the dog’s neck to make sure it's the right size for your pal.

Size Chest Girth
Small 11.8 - 23.5 inches
Medium 23.5 - 31.5 inches
Large 31.5 inches and up

This Halti harness is easy to adjust, sturdy, and efficient. I love the ring connections on both back and front. The front ring being able to hook to our dog's collar ring keeps the front of the harness from pulling to far to the side giving good control on walks and in tight places. He is a big Newfydoodle puppy of eight months weighing in at 100 pounds and enjoys the fit and feel of this harness better than others we have tried.

  • It kinda works..

I have a new lab puppy and want to get ahead of the game when it comes to pulling. So the concept of this is great, and I can see how this should work. But I find when it is on my puppy it still moves around a lot even when it is fitted pretty snug. It has helped a bit with pulling however. I purchased this bc the price was right and heard positive things about no pull harnesses. Once my puppy isn't growing so fast I will probably get one similar that is more like a vest with a clip in th front. It definitely was worth a shot for the price.

  • How wonderful it is

A friend told me she had gotten this for her dog and it worked. I have two dogs that pull very badly so I decided it couldn't hurt. I was surprised as to how well it does work. I recommend anyone getting this who has the pulling issues. I usually don't try things however I needed something and this has made a big difference.

  • It works and we are happy

We’ve tried several harnesses for our Australian cattle dog part beagle. She’s really strong and has a mind of her own. We attach one lead to the circle on the collar and one to the one on her back. This really seems to get her attention in a gentle way and she is much easier to walk.

  • It’s semi decent

I got this for my lab/border collie mix 6 month old puppy. I got the small. It’s slightly too big for her around the front of the chest. So much so if she jumps up a lot and keeps doing that one paw does come loose out of it. The xsmall is too small. She is still growing. She is 6 months. So she may grow into it yet still.

  • Great Product

We love this harness. It's made well and is durable. It makes my 7 month old Dane walkable. We are having to buy another one only after my kids left it on him and he chewed it off.

  • Not strong enought

I loved the design of the rings but the first one broke within a few weeks - got a replacement and same thing. just not strong enough for my 55lb border collie. It broke at the clip both times

  • Sizes run really big

Got a medium for a medium size dog. She's 46 pounds and thick across the chest. This size is way too big and I can't make it any smaller. I'm ordering the small.

  • Works well for energetic puppy

    By on

Our 15 month black lab is in training and we really needed a system to get her attention and walk her safely without straining her neck. Our trainer is familiar with this type of harness and helped adjust it. We are very happy we got this and the quality is very good.

  • Didn't work for us.

My Yorkie doesn't wear a regular collar due to their trachea problems so we have nothing to attach the harness to. Plus even the small is way too loose on him. Maybe I can find a friend to give it to that can use it.
