Horrible experience with WEEVIL infestation

My hamster moved her nest to a different location and she was scratching herself a lot. last night I inspected her nest and found weevils in her nest. I spent hours last night trying to clean up her very large enclosures. Today after I went through all her food packages and inspecting every single one of the them I discovered that SUNBURST food was infested with weevils. hopefully I didn't miss any weevil eggs in there. They are very hard to get rid of once they infest the enclosures. I will never buy this brand again. And from now on I will inspect all food packages before I put food in my hamster cages.

This has been my go to brand for 3+ years now— all my hamsters seem to enjoy the food, other than those tiny alfalfa seeds lol. They’re so picky

This product is amazing! ive fed it to my hamsters for 5 years! has a large variety and is a great option! unfortunately it cannot be fed by itself, so id recommend buying Mazuri rat and mouse blocks or any other lab blocks. there is another review about them. in short words, THIS IS ONE OF THE BED HAMSTER FOODS OUT THERE AND YOU SHOULD BUY IT!!!!!

My hamster LOVES!!!!!

My hamster loves this food, we have been giving it to her for a while now. It gets her energy up to run on the wheel all night. The only thing that my hamster doesn't like as much is the little seeds. She also likes to hide her food. It is great for hamsters.

Gerbils love it! Sift out the millet.

I’ve been buying this for my gerbils for a few years and they love it. After about a year and a half I got smart and started to sift out the millet with a colander. I can buy three bags of it and get two bags worth of non-millet. I also mix it with Oxbow Hamster and Gerbils. They get equal portions of each. I may buy the 25lb bag next to save some money but I’m not sure how much longer my boys will be around so I’ll do the math.

RED BUGS!!

I was a fan of it because my hammy liked it but then I started to find red bugs crawling and it’s actually so disgusting. This is the second time it has happened and I’m very disappointed:(

Hamster won’t eat millet

I think it’s millet as the little hard brown things that my hamster refuses to eat. He only will eat the seeds and other things and makes a big mess digging thru the food and leaving what he refuses to eat. Won’t get again.

Tasty to me

Our hamster doesn't really like millet or the alfalfa crunchies, so this one the one for her. The mix looks pretty tasty (to me) but I have not tried it. However, my hamster dived right in and filled up her pockets. Decent price at B1G1 half off otherwise a bit pricy for pet food.

I accidentally bought the wrong Sunburst food for my hamster from a local store and Chewy was the quickest option to get him this new food. He loves it and does not waste much at all! He loves how it smells as well!
