Cricket isn't overwhelmed with love for this food, but he's gotten much healthier, and as far as I care, that's what matters. Chewy, however, is awesome. Someone porch pirated two 24 pack cases of this food, $160, and Chewy is replacing them. Last summer, they refunded me part of a case of food when a FedEx guy dropped it and burst some cans open. Chewy's fantastic and has a customer for life with me.

My cat kind of liked this when I gave her half the 5.5 oz. can and was willing to finish most of it. But she gets only 2.5-3 oz.. of wet food in a serving, so I had to cover and refrigerate the rest of this can. When I presented the leftovers to her a couple of nights later, she wouldn't go near it This is a prescription food. A can this size offers two servings for a cat, but unless someone has two cats who both are on the same prescription (and how likely is that?), the second half may go to uneaten because, well, cats are like that about leftovers. Given how much prescription foods cost, that's waste of money. Hill's offers another urinary prescription food in the small cans, so why not do that with this variety, too? It makes no sense not to. I am reluctant to spend money on this one again.

Our 9 year old rag doll has FIC, and was put on prescription diet. Before that he always ate canned pate wet food at night and strictly seafood based. He enjoyed Tiki brand tuna and salmon. We tried royal canin at first but it was chunky and chicken; he did not like it at all. Then I saw Hill’s has a pate looking style and as close to seafood as I could find so I tried this oceanfish. He ate a few bites but wasn’t enjoying it. I just ordered Hill’s wet food Tuna flavor and thats the one he’s eating right now! Still doesn’t eat it as vigorously as he did his other wet foods but this will do.

The prescription diet seems to be helping my cats bladder issues already. The cat does eat this food, but just a small amount about a teaspoon - teaspoon and a half in the morning and repeating in the evening. He seems to enjoy it warmed up a little, as well. Do invest in a good cover for the canned food.

My cat likes this urinary RX food better than the other leading brand. The only issue is that the outside of the can lids have visible particles of dirt. I have to wash the lids before opening. The dirt is under the plastic that wraps the cans together. The factory is wrapping dirty cans.

I'm not sure why the food is so expensive but that's on Hill's and not on Chewy. It costs the same everywhere. Thank you, Chewy, for getting it to my boy so fast!

My one boy got urinary issues and we were told we had to switch him to Rx food. The vet gave him this and said he loved it, but this cat in particular would eat ANYTHING. So, I switched to the Purina Rx food not thinking anything of it. Welp, my baby loved this brand and flavor so much, he went on hunger strike and cost us another vet visit. He was fine when I got this food again. I guess we’re investing in only this food now.
