Corn, as an ingredient, serves as a highly digestible carbohydrate source, as well as a source of protein and vitamins.

Dried Hydrolyzed Casein and L-Tryptophan are both shown to help reduce stress.

so good the other cat wants it

(photo of my boy begging with his little dumb feet in the plate) have to buy this for my darling baby boy (7 years old) who kept having urinary issues weekly back in Feb. he enjoys this and the wet food. apparently it must be Really good because our other cat (13 years old) has completely abandoned her food in order to steal from my sweet baby boy. so now both cats get it! a pain in the butt because this stuff is mad expensive but id rather her eat the spensive food than her refusing her other food. ANYWAYS! he hasn't had a bout of urinary issues since. however it takes roughly a week to get into the cats system to start working (i learned this is 300 dollar hard way, YIKES!)

They Like It

Our vet changed up their prescription diet from I/D formula to C/D + Stress. It was a very easy transition to this food and they like it very much which was a great relief to me. The cats tolerate the food well and seem to feel fuller for longer periods of time and also increased energy levels.

This works very well!

My kitty needed to go on this diet. It works great for his urinary issues. Bonus, the stress relieving aspect works super well for him. He is doing significantly better mentally and physically. His fur is much more fluffy and he is much less anxious! He and his brother like to eat this kibble too!

Yummy!

I was super nervous about switching my cats over to a prescription diet due to their picky habits, but they love it! I do wish it was more affordable, hence the four stars, but I’m glad that it doesn’t go to waste and it is meeting their health needs.

It really works!

My young female cat had urinary crystals in her urine and her vet prescribed her this food temporarily. At her one month check up after starting this diet, all struvite crystals were gone! Now a year later she's still clear, but her littermate developed crystals and was prescribed the c/d food too. We're trying the c/d multicare stress + metabolic line for the chunky boy

You're the best!

This Hills Urinary Care c/d is what my 7 year old kitty needs. I really appreciate how quickly you sent once we got the vet's approval. He has bladder problems and the vet thinks this food will help with his stones. Plus he likes it!!!

Prescription

Well it took awhile but he eats it now. Swami the cat was always finicky. Only eats 1/2 can of Fancy Feast wet. I changed flavors of dry often. This one took some time to get used to.

Great product

My vet recently prescribed a cat food for urinary care that included stress care. I was doubtful the stress care would have any effect but I was wrong. She has stopped over grooming and not had another UTI since! She is still playful and has lots of energy. I would recommend this product for any cat who needs help in this area. I also recommend buying it from Chewy. All you need is a prescription from your vet. I have found Chewy to have better prices than my vet and it takes 3 days or less from when I order to receive it!

He likes it!

I was so worried when this diet was prescribed by my vet because my kitty has been on the same food brand since he was a kitten (he's 5 now). But he liked it right away and has gained back weight that was lost when he became ill from urinary tract issues. This food, even though prescription only, is actually a bit less expensive than his previous dry food. I'll be especially happy if he stays healthy and never experiences another urinary blockage again!

will do in this case

This was prescribed for my cat who is having urinary stress. Both cats will eat it but are not wild about the product.
