  • Great vet-prescribed wet cat food for a cat with urinary tract issues

    By on

Our 5-year-old cat began having urinary tract issues so the vet changed his diet to this prescription wet food. Turns out that our 15# cat has a very small bladder. It appears that his urinary tract issues have cleared up (after a round of antibiotics) and he is thriving while eating this wet food. He really loves this wet food and we love that he isn't having urinary tract issues any longer. Our cat would eat two cans of this wet food in one sitting if we allowed it. Chewy worked with our vet's office so that we didn't have to drive to the vet's office to pick up this food but rather arrange for chewy.com to ship it directly to us.

  • Looks pretty good

    By on

I had a sample of this food to try because my cat was not eating another brand very well. The sample appeared to be desirable to all three of my cats. I bought a case. Now I'm throwing away most of each feeding, because they won't eat it. I guess that's a cat for you. It certainly looks and smells more appealing than their previous food.

  • Not really happy with product

    By on

I bought a case of the tuna and a case of the chicken stew. I have the same problem with both. The chunks of tuna and chicken are way too big. My cat can not even chew them. He licks all the gravy and leaves all the big chunks laying in his bowl. He eats the pate better but it doesn't come in the smaller cans.

  • Apparently, not tasty enough.

    By on

My cat didn't like it, so this purrchase looks like wasted money at this point... so that you could better evaluate this, my cat's quite picky, his tastes are - food is poultry, beef liver, few dry cat foods; non-food is fish, dairy, many dry cat foods. He loves Hill's c/d chicken without vegetables though. Good luck.

  • New snack for the kitties

    By on

Our 5 furbabies are very excited with the chicken and vegetable stew flavor canned food by Hill's. They had gotten a little bored with the regular chicken flavor and now we rotate the 2 flavors. The kitties are much happier. We will be ordering both flavors each month going forward.

  • Words I thought I never say “Cat likes her wet food”

    By on

One of my cats is very picky. She will only eat wet food if no dry food is left and she is very hungry. But this wet food she eats first before dry. Finally I found a wet food she’ll willingly eat....until she changes her mind bc of course she’s a cat.

  • I wish vets offered alternatives.

    By on

My cat hates this. Absolutely hates it. If I mix it with other food? He now hates the food I mix it with. I've never had a cat food smell this strongly before, it's foul and it's no wonder. If your cat doesn't like this, they'll be hard to convince.

  • Picky Kitty Likes It

    By on

I switched vets and my current vet prefers this over Royal Canin for cats who have cystitis and other bladder issues, like mine. I wasn't sure if he would go for it but so far he loves it! I want to try the other flavor when I have the money!

  • Finn's 1st canned food

    By on

This is the 1st & only soft food my cat has liked. Best of all, he's had his best urinalysis since almost entirely switching from dry to wet. I mix a half can if water with it to increase his water intake & he devours it.

  • My kitties love it!

    By on

After having 2 cats in less than 6 months with urine crystals the vet recommended this prescription food. All ten of my cats love this food and have had no tummy issues adjusting to it. Also, no more urinary issues either!!
