Could you please provide feeding recommendations for this product?
Answer by ChewyJan 22, 2018
Please refer to the daily feeding chart below. Please consult a veterinarian for an accurate feeding based on your cat's current condition, age and health.

What is/are the medication(s) in this food that helps with cat urinary issues?
Answer by ChewyJul 31, 2019
This food does not contain medication. Instead, it's formulated with controlled levels of magnesium, phosphorus, and calcium. It's enriched with antioxidants, potassium citrate, and omega-3. The recipe also promotes desirable urine pH levels.

Do you sell any mixed cases of c/d wet food for cats? Maybe some of the little chicken and tuna stews and some of the larger pate versions? I'm trying to give my cat several choices weekly.
Answer by ChewyApr 12, 2018
This product does not come in a variety pack.

Are there different flavors?
Answer by ChewyNov 04, 2021

A lifesaver!

Out cat developed bladder stones a few months ago and our vet prescribed Hills C/D Urinary Care. We noticed an improvement within just a few days and by a month's time, her stones cleared up completely. Our cat had never been a big fan of wet food, but she absolutely loves this. We feed her the dry formula along with it. Thanks to Chewy for getting us our latest order so quickly after I made an ordering error!

Cats are less impressed with this flavor

I bought this only because it adds an occasional variety in flavor to the only two other flavors offered in the 5oz cans. The cats will eat it usually when they realize later, after its been sitting for awhile, that the menu isn't going to change before the next meal.

Kitty Loves it... Hard to get

My kitty had developed crystals in her bladder and the vet had prescribed the Royal Canin at first, and she would not eat that at all. Then we got her switched to Hills chicken and that was a pate too, and she would not eat that. We then tried this and she absolutely loves it. The two downsides that I am experiencing are that these cans are small and do not come in 5.5 ounces unless its the pate. Another thing is that I am having trouble getting this food. I'm hoping Chewy gets it back ASAP so I can get her some more soon rather than later. (I am having a hard time getting this everywhere I have been going).

A very picky old gal... :) :)

L,C, is a picky old gal. The only thing she would do is lick up the gravy and leave the meat, which went to waste. Had to go back to Fancy Feast Beef and/or chicken pate. She will, occasionally, eat the K/D kidney care dry food.

Highly recommend

Chewy contacted my vet's office to confirm my cat's prescription for this particular cat food and my order was shipped and delivered within 1-2 days. Very fast and convenient. My only wish is that Hill's Science Diet would add other flavors to their menu.

My kitty and I are so pleased that you have her medically necessary prescribed cat food readily available! She is thriving on this food and has not had any further UTI’s!!! Thank you!

They like it

This is the only prescription food Felix eats willingly. Several of my other cats will lick his bowl if there is anything left. Any other urinary prescription or otc urinary food gets a paws down.

My cat loves

My male cat loves this food. I first got a few cans from my Vet due to a urinary problem. I now also feed it to my female cat since they both eat from each other's bowls. I wish it was less expensive. Will definitely buy again and recommend.

Cat Caretaker

Our Rosie LOVES this cat food and really accepts no substitute — believe me, we’ve tried. She’ll slowly eat the plain c/d chicken if we add a little water to make it appear “stewey” but she GOBBLES the actual chicken vegetable stew. Ocean fish, no sale. We’re seeking to stock up because her hunger for this flavor is apparently insatiable. We now know that running out definitely has consequences!

This was a last resort

My cat has been on Hills Science c/d for 14 years. He eats the chicken or ocean fish flavor. Because both of those flavors are out of stock, I had to choose the only flavor available. My boy will not eat it. It isn't the fault of Chewy, but I don't know what to do to get him to eat or what my alternative is. He is going on 16 years old so the grouchy old man is stuck in his ways. I'm glad I didn't buy the 5.5oz cans.
