Once my dog (Spark) started having joint issues the Vet recommend this kibble to assist Spark in his mobility/joint strength and give some extra life to his old age. It helped him to the very end. Spark passed this morning. But I do have to say that the kibble really did help Spark be around much longer than without it. Spark also really seemed to enjoy the kibble. I highly recommend this kibble.

Joint food eases joint pain!

I have tried a few different foods for my dog, who is a 13 year old Husky and she loves this food. Her hips and legs get stiffer than they used to when she was younger

Kibble was too small

The kibble size was small and there was not an option to have bigger kibble. Also my dog who is NOT picky at all hated it. Even though I slowly transitioned over

The kibble size was small and there was not an option to have bigger kibble. Also my dog who is NOT picky at all hated it. Even though I slowly transitioned over he stopped eating when I got to 50% old/50% new. I was worried his health was declining but he just didn't like the food.

Didn't seem to improve anything

So my dog has arthritis and I figured I would try this so the doctor prescribed it. I gave it about 30 days and it absolutely nothing. Not saying it's a bad product

So my dog has arthritis and I figured I would try this so the doctor prescribed it. I gave it about 30 days and it absolutely nothing. Not saying it's a bad product just saying it didn't work for my dog. She's still hobbling around and she's still very sore when exercising. I gave the recommend cups of food per day and nothing.

Stomach issues in Both of my Retrievers!

Our vet recommended this food for our dogs, one who has had surgeries on both back knees. The dogs have been on it for several months. The dogs are now eating grass

Our vet recommended this food for our dogs, one who has had surgeries on both back knees. The dogs have been on it for several months. The dogs are now eating grass all the time, and their stomachs are churning. However the benefits, these side effects are not good, so we are going to have to find a stomach sensitive dog food. If it was just one dog, I would think it was something else, but it is both of my dogs experiencing these issues! Watch for these signs if you are going to try this food. I wish this food came as sensitive stomach.

My boy just passed yesterday. But I wanted to share how much this joint food relieved his pain and allowed him to live out the last year of his life. Significant difference in limping all the time to running, playing, and walking constantly with no pain! Very impressed.

Made my dog sick!

My 12 year old arthritic dog had been having a more difficult time getting up lately so I thought this food in addition to his daily Dasuquin supplement would help

My 12 year old arthritic dog had been having a more difficult time getting up lately so I thought this food in addition to his daily Dasuquin supplement would help with that. I consulted the vet before and they said there shouldn't be any issue with switching to this food. I introduced the food slowly per the recommendations. A short while into him eating exclusively Hill's j/d food he began to have diarrhea, some vomiting, and was overall uncomfortable. All in all we've had two vet visits within 2 weeks totaling close to $800 to realize that this food has been causing his GI upset. Two days ago I completely stopped feeding Hill's j/d because it was the last thing to rule out and today he finally had a normal, solid bowel movement. I threw away what was left of this food and will never feed it to my dog again. Just beware that if your dog starts to experience GI upset, this food may be the culprit and it would be best and more cost efficient to immediately stop feeding it.
