Our little 6-pound Pomeranian loves this food. About 1/2 hour before feeding time, we’ll feel his little eyes staring at us. He’s letting us know that he is ready for his next delicious meal.

Nutritional information incorrect
I got this as my 16+ lady has kidney disease and I needed something with a protein content less than 4. The nutritional information section on this shows 3.5, but when I got the food in and went to feed her I happened to notice the actual package shows 4.5. If you're purchasing based on protein please know it shows higher in the actual package. Also the fat and fiber show a bit different also. I'll attach a photo of the package nutrition label

Great for picky senior doxie
I’ve used this food for a number of our senior dachshunds. Especially when they get to the point where they really don’t want to eat anything.

-minus stars if I could. Bug in food.
Giant fly in food! This is completely unacceptable. I had previously had to stop giving my toy poodle the beef version of this food. It must of been a bad batch he vomited 3x in a row after consuming beef. Started to use only this chicken version. Opened the container to this fly. See photos. I find this disgusting and beyond unacceptable.. avoid this food!

Successful choice
My 17-year-old, sickly dog has been super-picky and often does not eat anything (even with hand-feeding and lots of cajoling). However, she actually seems to like this Adult 7+ Small Paws Savory Chicken & Vegetable Stew which I've been using now for about three weeks. Sometimes she'll even eat it out of her bowl without me having to hand-feed it to her. She does not like it when I try to mix this stew with her Hill's Prescription Diet dry kibble. She will try to eat around the kibble. I am concerned, though, that the little plastic trays are not recyclable. There is no recycling triangle on the bottom of the tray, and a customer service woman at Hill's confirmed that these trays are not recyclable yet. So this is a concern to me because I try to recycle all plastics. But at least my dog is consistently eating this stew, which is kind of a break-through for us.

Yummy most of tine
I have a ratchi who believes that he needs human food or cat food daily. We don't let him have it but that doesn't deter his want. I was looking for a better quality palatable food for my little guy and this fits the bill. Some days he sticks is nose in the air, other days he goes into hoover mode. It smells nice, appears to be good quality and he favors it more than other brands we've tried. So 4 stars is fair. I wish I could find a 5 star food that he would love. We're happy enough.

His New Fav
Our 17-year old wonder usually snubs his nose at stew-mixed foods, but he definitely enjoys the Hill's version. Good stuff for him.
