    Helped very sick dog

By Tantah on Dec 1, 2021

Our Tatra Mountain Dog ate something sharp. He was sick and fragile for a long time while he healed internally. When he was well enough for a regular diet, this is what we chose, and he liked it immediately. The size of the kibble is exceptional for a large breed dog. It's been almost 3 months, and he still does well on this formula as his main food, with a few tablespoons of warm water, digestive supplements, probiotics, herbals, chicken breast snacks, dollops of plain yogurt, pumpkin puree, and banana slices. Hopefully, Hills won't change the formula. Fingers crossed.

bag busted during shipping - great food

By buckeyeflask on Sep 13, 2021

Love this food. My dog had stool problems for almost 3 months. After 1 week of prescription diet canned, and eased into prescription diet dry, I switched to this perfect digestion instead of going to vet for food due to convenience. Dog loves the food and is solid an regular as long as I keep her away from a variety of treats.

    Made my dog’s stool worse.

By SHFOOD on Oct 17, 2021

My dog has a sensitive stomach. I was trying to find a food that would firm up her stool, and this formula has just made it way worse.

As long as my doggy is happy..

By Hollie on Jun 29, 2021

I've been sticking with what I thought was a great value brand but my dog started to show a lack of interest in her food and has a sensitive stomach. Thankfully, I received a free sample bag and my dog took to it without any issues! This was my first time trying Hill's Science Diet dog food and I recently purchased another type from their line but I plan to switch back to this one (Adult Perfect Digestion Large Breed Dry Dog Food) since she likes the larger kibble. I am happy with this brand and plan to repurchase it.

    Great diet, small bag....

    By Arleasmom1 on Jul 15, 2021

I have always been a proponent for feeding a scientific diet, but Hill's has really done it again. We had been feeding the Royal Canin version of this diet(Sensitive Digestion) but it has been out of stock quite a bit. The dogs love the kibble and stools have been perfect. My only con for this diet is bag size for the large breed diet, the largest bag is 22 lbs and doesn't last too long.

    dogs loved it

    By mar55 on Jun 28, 2021

I've used Hill's Science Diet wet dog food in the past, but I haven't tried their dry dog food before this. I received this product as a free trial. My lab and brittany spaniel enjoyed the chicken Adult Perfect Digestion Large Breed Dry Dog Food. I haven't noticed any changes in either of my dog's bowel movements, but they didn't have issues with that prior. Sometimes my dog gets rashes if there is fake chicken flavoring and she didn't get any rashes while eating this product!

finally something that makes my tummy feel good!

By LeotheAiredale on Jul 6, 2021

My Airedale has a super sensitive stomach and had issues with food until I found the Royal Canin Digestive Care, however with that food somewhat permanently out of stock, my dog has had diarrhea for almost three weeks trying to switch his food. I found this at the recommendation of Chewy reviewers and he is doing great even after 2 days! Eating and pooping is fun again with Hill’s Science Diet!

    Doggy loves it!

By Jewel on Jun 30, 2021

I received this free as a sample. Either my dog was so excited to eat something new OR this food was just really tasty to her. My 85-lb German Shepherd mix has a pretty sensitive tummy, and this food sat well with her. Her poops are usually pretty regular, and after trying this with her normal food, her bowel movements remained pretty much the same. It’s worth trying!

Excited but dog refused to eat it

    By MamaT86 on May 27, 2021

Received a free sample bag for an honest review. I was super excited to try this out, since my dog does have a sensitive stomach. However my dog refused to eat the food. I mixed it with his other kibble. I even tried some shredded cheese and scrambled eggs, he just ate around it. I did give it to the neighbor dog down the street and he liked it and didn’t have a problem.

    Hills Science Diet dog food

    By peppery1 on Jun 4, 2021

My dog would not eat the Hills Science diet perfect digestion large breed Chicken dry food. She is very picky to say the least and half the time we are giving the food we buy away. I don't know what to give her so we try everything. We gave the food to our neighbor who has 5 dogs and they ate it as soon as it was in the bowl.
