Rescued Chug

My rescue came from a very poor “foster” home. He had 4-5 loose stools daily when I first adopted him. I have used Science Diet for several other dogs so chose this one to try to calm his gut down. After only a week exclusively on this product his stool is normal and only 2-3 times a day. He loves it too!!

I had to change dog food to this one per suggestion from my Vet due to Allergy issues my poor dog is going through. This will take time to see if it's working but she loves the food, & so far she seems to be improving.. I sure wish this food was a little less expensive, but if she gets feeling better it will be worth it!

Pug loves it.

In the past, I used to give my pug the chicken and rice flavored food, but she wasn’t a big fan of it and would often skip meals. However, I started feeding her salmon-flavored food and she absolutely loves it! She gets so excited during mealtime, so I would say this flavor is definitely a winner.

Pups love this!

Recently tried this dog food as my dogs have digestive issues with gas,loose stools,and vomiting. I've tried so many different dry dog foods that seem healthy only for theproblems to be exacerbated or for the pups to not eat it. When I put this down, it's gone within a few minutes and no one is throwing up or farting all night. Definitely worth the price and I can tell they're more comfortable.

Salmon won the heart of our dog

We were using the chicken and rice formula. Tried some salmon soft food and our dog went nuts. So we decided to try the hard food. Luckily she does not have an allergy to chicken. Just seems not to like it as much. As another review noted, there is some chicken fat in the ingredient list. Not concerning to us. It does seem to help keep our little one regular.

Lulu loves her new food and eats her dinner with enthusiasm! She is currently enjoying the salmon flavor and fortunately does not have fish breath!!

Caused an allergic reaction

I recently switched my dog to this food due to extremely concerning reviews on the Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach - this is also salmon-based and has good reviews, so I figured it would be a good alternative. After about 2 weeks of being on this kibble, his entire face and snout broke out in large hives which landed us at the emergency vet two days in a row. I've since switched him to a bland diet and the hives have stopped. Super disappointed because I've heard great things about Hills: I think this food can work well for many dogs, but if your dog has allergies I wouldn't recommend it.

It’s True - Perfect Poops!

Finally! As the packaging boasts - it’s true. Perfect poops for our 75lb lab shepherd mix. Our dog has struggled over the years with soft/runny poops and we have tried so many food brands and recipes trying to remedy. This one finally did the trick! The only negative is that our dog doesn’t seem excited to eat this and turns up his nose until we add some home cooked veggies or salmon on top. Then he gobbles it up no prob! He typically eats anything and everything without fuss, so perhaps this recipe is a bit bland? But with solid regular poops we’re in it for the long haul! We’re considering it a win! Love love love!

Disappointing

We recently switched to this brand and recipe after a recommendation from our vet. He has suggested removing chicken products from our pups diet. I have recently found out that there is chicken meal and chicken fat in this food. I am going to now have to switch again. I will not buy this brand again. Very disappointing to say the least. Be careful and read those ingredients.
