It still works, and fits the chews well, I just hope it lasts. Its worth it. I look forward to an improved version.

I like the compact design and the material that does not invite chewing, but unfortunately the screw head broke during tightening after just a few uses. Had not done anything to weaken the plastic - hand-washed only, and dog isn't a plastic chewer. Must have tried to tighten too much, but my grip strength is average at best so I wasn't applying a huge amount of force to the screwdriver. Worked fine for cheese stick and a collagen stick before that.

We got this because our small dog is obsessed with the yak chews. Because he is small, they are small, and my concerns about him choking are elevated. This absolutely gives us some piece of mind and he can enjoy the bone-like texture longer before we put it in the microwave to puff. The reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is you need a screw driver to really open and tighten this properly, and if you don't have the right tool on hand you cannot use the product.
