My 9 year pug was put on prescription hydrolyzed protein food years ago. At one point the vet saw cloudiness in his bladder so he was on Urinary Support as well. This food was so smelly. He eventually ate it if he was desperate or if it had cheese on it. And this is a food-obsessed Pug. I honestly didn't think he needed to be on this food, so I went searching for something new. Enter Honest Kitchen. He really likes it! He eats it right away, it's easy to make, soft for his teeth, and it doesn't come in a can. Also, he's battled ear infections for years. His right one just would not clear up. It was to the point the vet said he had end stage ear disease and needed an ear ablasion. Thankfully I held off because both of his ears are totally clear now! He seems less itchy, sheds less, and he's pooping like a champ twice a day. I just wish I would have switched him sooner.
We feed our male dog this and have for years now. He’s got a very sensitive system and this fits the bill and is super easy on his gut with no issues. He loves it and gobbles it up every day.
I find that I have to make the food the night before or morning before for it to have the right consistency. My dog loves this. It is a little more expensive than his usual dog food so I decided to use a mix of his old with this as the topper. He definitely loves having this!
I had bought another dehydrated food and thought 'they're all the same", but no. The other my dog ate right up, no hesitation. This one she sniffed at and walked away. Why so many oats? Dogs don't eat oats!
My little female Jack Russell was a terribly picky eater. She absolutely loves this food. My other two dogs loved it also.
I use this as a topper to my dog's kibble. I lke that it's a natural, quality product with a little fruit and veggies for added nutrition and flavor. My girl loves it and it sure beats canned dog food.
Bailey loves the food and she is a picky eater. Food is easy to mix and measure appropriate serving. No offensive odor like wet canned food.
If we don’t find u something. I’d really like the chicken better. My dogs love the chicken. Stupid me decided to give them variety. Since starting this food my dogs have more y appears It energy and the
I wanted them to love this because it is so convenient and clean. I've tried both flavors and various times. No takers from my two. I'm babysitting the grand hound dog this weekend. I'm betting it will all get eaten.
I've used other flavors of this food before but switched to the Whole Grain on recommendation from my Cavalier's cardiologist. Grain free food is a no no for dogs with heart problems.
