Weird white stuff in it

I have no idea what this white stuff in the food is. Fat? Dry vitamins and minerals? Mold? It kind of makes me uneasy feeding it to the cats. They will eat it, but

I have no idea what this white stuff in the food is. Fat? Dry vitamins and minerals? Mold? It kind of makes me uneasy feeding it to the cats. They will eat it, but I'd really like to know what this is. I've been searching for healthier foods with better ingredients for my pets, so I'm kind of bummed that this might not make the cut.

I bought this flavor for my picky cat. He quickly stopped eating it, so I had to rotate foods again. It's too calorie dense for my two not picky cats. My picky

I bought this flavor for my picky cat. He quickly stopped eating it, so I had to rotate foods again. It's too calorie dense for my two not picky cats. My picky cat is long and very active, so he needs the extra calories. My two not picky cats are smaller and far less active. Oh well. As usual, there were dented cans. Regardless of what Hounds and Gatos flavor I buy, there are always dented cans. No spoilage yet though, thankfully.

Our girl adores eating and loves this food. We rotate out flavors for her and Hound and Gatos makes her coat so silky smooth.

Wish the cat would have liked this

Unfortunately another one bites the dust and my cat refuses to touch this food. As usual, she have it the old college try and ate a few bites, but the longer I try

Unfortunately another one bites the dust and my cat refuses to touch this food. As usual, she have it the old college try and ate a few bites, but the longer I try to introduce this food, rotate it in or out, etc, the less she seems to be willing to eat it. It's gotten to the point that she won't even check out her bowl when I put it down if she smells this food. I've tried mixing in toppers and treats she normally likes but she still turns up her nose. After months of trying to get her to like it, I will be donating the rest of the cans and calling it a loss, because she won't eat it!

I asked in my facebook group if the white deposits are fat or mold, I only found it once flipping the pate on its bottom. They said I should heat it up to see if it melts away and in that case it’s fat. I’m not saying it’s mold but it didn’t really melt away and my cats sweep it when I try to feed it to them :( Sad because the ingredients seem awesome. Maybe a different protein from this brand is the way to go

i’ve been trying to find a food without chicken in it for my girls with stomatitis and sensitive stomachs, this seems to work well for them :) my cats are absolutely

i’ve been trying to find a food without chicken in it for my girls with stomatitis and sensitive stomachs, this seems to work well for them :) my cats are absolutely not picky so i had to problem with getting them to eat it, they were maybe less excited when i would serve it to them but still cleaned their plates (5 out of 5 cats) <3

Even strays dont like it

While ingredients sounded good, our 8 indoor cats just paw the floor and walk away. I thought perhaps the outdoor strays would eat it , but no.

Non-fussy eaters don't like it

I have 2 cats that aren't picky and neither like it. I am thinking of giving the last few cans away because they will walk away from their food and not eat it.
