Can I buy replacement covers for the ball? Still using first ball I gave my dog need covers for her to tear apart. Hehe

Answer by ChewySep 13, 2019
You can purchase replacement covers for this ball on the manufacturer's website.

How do you open battery case to replace batteries???

Answer by ChewyApr 26, 2023
To change batteries, remove the plastic ball from plush toy cover. Use tab to open the giggle dog toy ball. Remove the battery compartment and insert 3 AAA batteries. This interactive dog toy has an automatic stop feature after a period without use, to extend battery life.

Do you need to turn off after playing with dogtail?

Answer by ChewyMar 30, 2023
We recommend turning off the toy to conserve the battery and to stop any noise from the dog toy.

Is there a way to turn off the barking, but still have it wiggle?

Answer by ChewyFeb 20, 2024
This dog toy only has one on/off button and the sound and movement are simultaneous.

The pros: Our 16-month-old PWD is completely intrigued by this. For several days it was his favorite. Nice that the tail is soft enough to be carried around, and he quickly learned that dropping it made it vibrate. The cons: The ball should be surrounded by something softer on top of the hard plastic. When the dog drops it (as they all do!), it's really hard. We have tile floors and I'm just waiting for it to crack one of them. Also, wish the outside was sturdier. But all in all, happy we bought this.

My dog loves this toy. It hops around and yipps which really keeps his interest. I do wish it was a little more sensitive though. It needs more than just a nudging to get it going so he often barks at it a lot, which is much louder and more annoying than the yip of the toy.

I bought both this one and another similar one at the same time. Both encourage supervision of your pet while he/she plays with it, and that is wise advice. The first one lasted about two sessions, but this fur-covered one lasted longer (we're up to four sessions now).

When I first activated it, Obi was so excited as the tail bounced around. That lasted for less than 10 minutes. I thought maybe the batteries died, so I replaced them. Once again Obi was thrilled as the tail was brought back to life. Sadly it lasted maybe 15 minutes before it died.

This toy had what my Boston likes: simple looking, noise, frantic motion.

He loves it so much that I have to limit play time with it each day or he would play with it to exhaustion. It is his favorite toy, and I need to buy a second one

My dog loves these toys

These are costly for how well they hold up. My dog has the plastic ball and cover chewed up in one night. I did give it 5 stars because she’s loves them so much

My dog is actually terrified of it and so is the cat. It is the weirdest looking/moving toy ever. Perhaps if I owned a huge ZOMBIE, KILLER dog, this thing would have been a hit.
