I bought this IAMS healthy weight because I need to get my big fella to lose some weight. He has been eating it for one month. His poop is much better and not as stinky plus it doesn't give him diarrhea. Since eating the IAMS, my big boy tolerates his treats better. I have not notice a weight reduction yet but it's only been 30 days. I plan to stick with the IAMS because his gut tolerates it better.

I have an 18lb cat who needs to lose a lot of weight. Thankfully, he’s not a picky eater, and this is one of the many weight management foods we’ve tried. This is the first dry food we’ve used since getting him an automatic feeder. We’ve had no issues with him eating it, and no issues of the food clogging up the dispenser. I can’t say if it’s going to help him lose weight or not - he was on a gravity feeder before, and just started having meals measured. That being said, he has been eating this for awhile, and his happy and healthy - which is what’s most important.

I order smaller weighted bags of food because our kitties seem to like change when it comes to dry food. This was a new kind of dry food for them to try and it's okay, but once they manage to finish it off I do not plan to purchase it again. Iams is a great product, but our girls just seem to pick at the bowl or stare at me as if asking for something else. Depending on your cat's taste I'd say most kitties would enjoy this food.
