Iceland Pure Pet Products extract their oils at very low temperatures. This procedure ensures that the fatty acids are not broken thus the fish oil qualities are not lost. Their process of distillation is called "molecular-distillation". This is a state-of-the-art process by which all harmful materials are separated and removed from the product. After the detoxification process, the levels of impurities, toxins or heavy metals in our products are considered toxin free specially in comparison to FDA guide lines.

No smell and no drip pump

Have used this brand of salmon oil for a few years now. No need to refrigerate but I do since it's so hot where I live. The oil pumps easily and never drips. There

Have used this brand of salmon oil for a few years now. No need to refrigerate but I do since it's so hot where I live. The oil pumps easily and never drips. There is no smell and my dogs love it. The rubber plug can be a little tricky to wiggle up and out but once you get the hang if it, it's easy to remove. The pump fits securely and is easy to insert the straw to the top housing. I've only received a broken fitting once and they replaced the entire pump. Love the product and the packaging.

Crummy pump

They changed the pump to a thin flimsy one that does not pump. It takes about 15 pumps to get the previous amount out. Tried pouring it instead but it’s messy. Sad

I can smell a light fishy odor when I squirt it in the bowls and even when mixed with food. All 3 cats can smell it too and they dont eat their food. They sometimes

Seems like a good quality product and all 3 of our dogs liked the taste, but it gave our chihuahua mix bad gas daily. He would fart multiple times a day when using this. This wasn’t normal gas - the stench could’ve peeled the paint off the walls. I frequently had to leave the room because I couldn’t handle the smell. This was every single day, multiple times a day, but especially after dinner when he got the supplement. We have since switched products and the problem is gone. I still can’t believe how bad it smelled. It’s like the Icelandic salmon rotted inside of him before making their way out. The other 2 dogs seemed fine, but be aware if your dog tends to have issues with gas.
