can I use this camera without a subscription and without an sd card? I am not looking to record pets, only view check in.

Are multiple family members able to use app for camera?

Yes! Multiple family members can use the Instachew camera through the Instachew Infinity app. Once one person connects the camera, they can share access with others by using the app’s Device Sharing feature. Each family member will need to create their own Instachew account and accept the shared device invitation.

Is there a monthly subscription associated with this camera? If so, is it required to use the product and how much is it?

The Puresight 360 Camera doesn't need a subscription for you to be able to see the recordings or use the amazing features this product has to offer. However, you would need to purchase a Micro SD Card (128GB) for you to be able to save videos.

Can you be away from home and still use the camera or does your phone have to be on the same wifi as the camera for it to work?

This pet camera can be accessed even if you are away from home, as long as the camera is connected to a 2.4Ghz stable internet connection.

I like that I can control where it’s pointed from my phone and the picture is pretty clear but every little sound sets it off. The speaker isn’t clear, it comes through muffled. Decent camera for watching dogs but I was hoping to use it to know if my dogs were barking and tell them to stop, but it’s not clear enough for that. It also comes with a super short cord.

Great for price!

This is my first pet cam and it’s great for the price. I pay for a subscription for cloud service, but you don’t necessarily need it. As you can see from the pic,

This is my first pet cam and it’s great for the price. I pay for a subscription for cloud service, but you don’t necessarily need it. As you can see from the pic, the night cam is super clear. Only change I would make to this camera is the motion sensor detection. It’s great for moving left and right, but it does not move up and down.

Crystal-clear night vision!

Most small cameras lose quality at night, but this one doesn’t. The black-and-white view is crisp, and I can even see my dog’s breathing while he sleeps. Feels reassuring

Had to get this we had a last minute trip. We were away a day and a half and I needed to be able to see my boys and talk to them. I had never left them before and this thing was easy to set up and worked great the whole time. Note that you don't need to speak with the phone to your mouth it makes it too loud. We tested that later. Just hold it in your hand as if you were chatting on speaker and then it comes through the right volume. Highly recommend.

I got this because my fiance and I work a lot and our cats had a litter of kittens so we wanted to be able to keep an eye on them. Once all the kittens when to new homes we used to just to keep an eye on all the animals overall. We had another litter, and I even use it in my step son’s room to keep an eye on him at night and during the day (he’s 5). I’ve dropped and stepped on this thing so many times and it’s been beaten up by 2 different litters of kittens and is still going strong.

I liked this camera while it worked. It was easy to rotate so I could see where my cats were and check in on them. Unfortunately after only a couple of months, the camera is stuck in a downward position and I’m no longer able to rotate it upwards. All I can see is my floor. I will have to buy something else or get a replacement.
