Do any of the ingredients come from China? I see it is "made in the USA" with ingredients from around the world. Where in the world?

Instinct will source most of their ingredients from the U.S. and turn to other locations only as needed. All poultry, pork, and fish come from the U.S. (salmon meal from the U.S./Canada/Chile). Fish is fresh-caught from the Atlantic and Pacific. Beef and lamb are from the U.S., venison is from the U.S. and New Zealand, and rabbit is from France. The vegetables and fruits are from the U.S. and Europe depending on the ingredients. Grains and starches are sourced from the U.S., Canada, and Brazil - herbs and spices from North America and Europe. Vitamins and minerals are from North America, Europe, and Asia. The kibble diets may contain minor ingredients (vitamins, trace nutrients) sourced from China to ensure supply is guaranteed. Their approved supplier has put in measures to assure food safety and traceability from a trusted supply chain.

good dog food

My border collies are very active. I like this food for an addition to their homecooked meals. they are really fond of homecooking but still enjoy this food and no upset tummies or refusing to eat it.

This product has Salmon and Fish meal in it. My dog is allergic to any fish products and this was an expensive lesson.

Warning: This food contains a lot of fish.b

Stupidly I did not read the ingredients for this food. It has a lot of fish and my dog is very allergic to fish. So.... hoping that the rabbit would be good for his allergies was a bust because of the fish.

My dog seems to love this!!

I have a picky eater and I really want to keep him healthy! I’ve gone through many trials of different dog food and have to say so far so good with this one. I love that it is grain free, and seems to include all the things important to keeping dogs healthy with great quality ingredients!! My dog loves the rabbit and seems eager to eat it.

LOVES THIS FOOD

I'm using it for weight management / weight loss for an overweight Cairn terrier. She's always been a picky eater, but 'twice a day' 1/4 C of this dry kibble with 1/2 T of the canned Instinct Limited Ingredient Diet Grain-Free Real Rabbit Recipe Wet Canned mixed together? She DEVOURS it. It satiates her to the point she isn't even interested in the other dog's food that can sit for a few hours. She's losing about 1 pound a month which I'm happy with.

buy or beware

I would of never bought this food if I knew there was a class action law suit on them from heavy metals and toxins in there food. I threw the bag out. Not taking a chance. And will never ever buy instinct dog food again!!!!!!!!!!!

Moldy kibble in the most recent bag!

Our dog Itsy has been on this kibble for awhile and loves it, especially the first week after the bag’s been opened. It does not upset her sensitive stomach and I’ve been very happy with it. But the recent bag had moldy clusters of kibble in it and I only opened it 4 days ago! Have pictures to prove it! Unbelievable! Pretty much the whole bag had to go to the garbage can! Never happened before! I had another bag on hands and have enough to feed our pup. Hope Chewy refunds me for it - they have an outstanding customer service. So just be careful and inspect the kibble. We will continue with this brand as our dog is 15 years old and I don’t want to unnecessarily change her eating habits. Unless this story repeats itself.
