I have an ACD who is allergic to chicken and this is the ONLY food I found that he likes. He does extremely well and koodos to Instinct for making a food with NO chicken in it! Thank you!!
I am so grateful to this brand for making something I can trust and that my dog loves. I struggled for such a long time to find a dog food that was chicken FREE + NOT grain free (since all the talk about grain free dog foods causing health problems). She's been on this for quite some time now and her allergies have subsided. She eats it right up and LOVES to pick out the dehydrated pieces first since those are her favorite (even our cat tries to snatch them out of her bowl)!
My Catahula leopard hound is allergic to chicken and grain-free products. She is eleven but looks half her age due to her coat. Instinct is the food that saved her life. But this new raw boost must be yummy because she really loves the added changes.
My dog has allergies so I switched her to the Instinct Salmon. She loves it ( and so do my grand puppies when they come to visit)
Our very picky foxhound LOVES this food! He used to regularly skip meals but not with this food. He runs to his crate (where he eats) when it’s meal time! He has a sensitive tummy too and has done great since we switched him to Instinct. He has very healthy stools and a beautiful shiny coat!
My dog did well on this after having issues with Purina and Victor and not thriving on Diamond Naturals. It’s definitely a step up from the Be Natural line and I recommend it over that! It’s a great food, just not budget friendly. Only thing I’d caution against is they don’t disclose the calcium:phosphorus on the bag so Instinct should add it to the bag. Otherwise, I highly recommend if you can afford it!
Ever since my dog started this kibble, he had difficulty holding his urine. I noticed he started to pee indoor, sometimes just small amount. He used to be very good with his routine. So not sure what Ingredient in the kibble cause the incontinence. After switching him to a different diet, he was his good old self again and no more pee in the house.
I can't say enough about how great this food has been for my 1.5 year old pit mix. He has a sensitive stomach, but we have had no issues since switching to this food. The switch was seemless and he gobbles this food down at every meal (which i haven't seen him do on any other dog food). There is plenty of freeze dried raw in every scoop. I don't find the smell of the salmon to be offensive.
My dog picked out all the raw bits and left the kibble. She would go all day without eating and she never did that on her old food (same brand) different style (puppy natural) I think I will stick to the Instinct Natural line.
So far so good. My dog seems to enjoy the Instinct food and appears to be doing well.
