OK but not easy to open
This food storage came in great shape. The wheels are easy to insert. However, I found the lid very difficult to close. It did not fit the top well. This was a replacement produce for the exact on I ordered 10 years ago which closed beautifully. I have yet to put food in it and am still using the old one.
Sturdy, even for ambitious cats
I liked the first so much I had to buy another. I have a large cat that is food motivated but he hasn't been able to open these yet. He can jump on the lid at 20lbs and not break or bend it. I have a second one for "outdoor cat" food in the shed and I haven't had an issue with bugs in it (yet.) Fits a large bag of food.
47lb dog food bag
Most of the people on here dont know that you arent supposed to empty out the dog food youre supposed to keep it in the bag. So I was hesitant to buy but it fits my dogs 47lb bag of kibble so I call that a win.
Poor latch design, not dog proof
My puppy had this all but unlatched within 5 minutes of unpacking it. The latch is not tight or secure. Poor quality. I would not recommend this product unless you plan to store it in a closet or somewhere away from the dog.
Good and Bad but Mostly Bad
I have both a 47qt and 55qt unit. Container has good thickness and will not crack easily. Lid props open to allow for hands free access. Same design makes it difficult to remove for cleaning. Brute force required to snap it back into place. Gasket is cheap foam and might keep mice and bugs out, but not moisture. It is NOT airtight. Wheels are cheap plastic and one always falls out unless you glue it into place. Wheel stem is 1/4 inch and impossible to find a replacement for when they break. IRIS does NOT offer replacement lids, wheels, or gaskets to customers at all. If it breaks just throw the whole bin in the landfill and Buy a New One. Cheaper to buy a 7 or 10 gallon food grade bucket with a Gamma seal lid if you want airtight storage.
It keeps the cats out
It's wonderful. It keeps the cats out of the food. Before I had a problem with them tearing the bag open and making a huge mess. The container is nicely made and stays shut to my hoggish kitties
Needs a handle but great for what it is.
I bought this because we buy 40lb bags of kitty litter, and lugging around a bag or a box towards the cat boxes, or going back and forth with half a pint of kitty litter is annoying. Being able to lead the litter with me and pour as much as it needs makes my life simpler. I plan to add a handle, a rope or something to it because even at 5'3 I still have to bend over significantly to drag it around. The wheels and lid are detachable (and arrive that way); I find it can hold about 2 40lb bags of litter in it. Sturdy and light (until I put the litter in) but not flimsy. When I set it up on the wheels, I placed the container in a fairly secure position (still upright and on its wheels), then poured the litter into it, it didn't roll away under it's weight. I just got this and it's made a good impression on me.
WEATHEPROOF -ARITIGHT ????
I was very disappointed with this product and the way it locks and seals. It didn't as well as I expected and the Cat was able to get it open.
Love This Container
Exactly as described. Wheels are wonderful & very easily installed. Seals dog food tightly. Plastic is not flimsy. Lid is a bit tight to open, but not a problem.

I’m so glad I didn’t listen to the reviews. This bin is the best! Well made, great wheels, fits perfectly and is airtight. Love it!!
