Poor lid design

I have a smaller one of these I have been using for years, so when I needed a larger one, it was a no brainer. This one has a design flaw in the lid. It is not designed

I have a smaller one of these I have been using for years, so when I needed a larger one, it was a no brainer. This one has a design flaw in the lid. It is not designed to open and stay open without holding it because it lacks a piece on it to stabilize it that my original one has. It is SO annoying! I will use it bc it fits the dimensions I need and I like the wheeled design, but know that the lid is not right if you order.

Very sturdy plastic bin. Wheels are very lightweight but slide into the base. The hinged lid has a flange between the two hinges that made it impossible for me to slip the simple hinges onto the bin. The lid sits securely without using the hinge portion, but it failed as a hinged-lid container.
