Great for walking treats!

Our dogs can get barky while on leashed walks. We break these treats in half and reward them if they don't react with barks while passing other dogs. They love them

We decided to give Jiminy’s Crunchy Treats original recipe a try. We had always been curious about alternative proteins. These treats are made with cricket protein. I like that they are grain free and gut friendly. It is also a sustainable treat, great for our environment during the production process. The 1st 3 ingredients listed are pumpkin, dried crickets, and sweet potato. When I opened the bag of treats, the smell was pleasant. My dogs loved them and came back for seconds and thirds. They would have finished the bag if I let them! They were definitely nice and crunchy and thin enough that my chihuahua didn’t have trouble eating them as well. They are friendly for dogs of all sizes to eat. I also feel good that they are gut friendly and easy to digest with prebiotic fiber, so I know they won’t have an upset tummy.

I LOVE this product! It’s made with sustainable ingredients for the health of the earth and our pups!! My elderly dog loves them!! She even chooses this treat option

I LOVE this product! It’s made with sustainable ingredients for the health of the earth and our pups!! My elderly dog loves them!! She even chooses this treat option over her usual treats, even after going through a whole bag! The only down side is that they are a little expensive for the size of the bag, but for the ingredients and sustainability aspect , I think it’s totally worth it. I would definitely recommend and purchase again!

The fact that they are made with cricket protein is not noticeable in texture or smell. Insects are a lot more sustainable protein source, so I like the idea of using them for pet treats. I have been curious about these treats and finally got to try them. Or rather, Bitsy got to try them. She loved them! I liked the short and healthy ingredient list. They smelled good to me when I opened the bag and she thought so too. She would have eaten them all if I let her. They are crunchy but not too hard to break apart if you want to give smaller pieces. I am going to have to get the other flavors for her to try.
